Anything too bulky. I will do some bling but no flair and a lot of things that are bulky like that.

Oh yeah, bare chipboard. Add that to my never buy list! I never could make it look good. I donated it all.

Those Rubber embellishments that I've seen lately. I don't know what it is about them but yuck!
ETA: And tassles. Why are they popping up everywhere now?

I loooove Thickers, however, I should add I love FOAM Thickers, not chipboard ones. The chipboard ones are the only ones I have trouble with, and if I get them in a kit or they are so pretty I can't resist, then I do add extra adhesive, but i would have to add adhesive if I cut letters with my Silhouette anyway. TBH, for me, it is 1000 times easier to get out a pack of Thickers and stick it on my page then pull out my Silhouette, set it up, and cut a title. Plus, i tend to like glittered foam Thickers, and no way i am glittering my own letters on a regular basis. I also don't keep much coloured cardstock on hand anymore...maybe if I had my Silhouette set up full time I would feel differently.

I am an embellishment addict...I probably use a lot of paper layers and embellishments than most people, but that is what makes me happy so...
I will say I don't buy dimensional flowers anymore as they no longer fit my style, or buttons because I have millions of them, and don't use them much anymore. Mark my words though buttons will be making a comeback soon...Metal embellishments like Tim Holtz stuff, I don't generally buy either. I could just say i don't tend to buy the Romantic/shabby chic style of embellishments and that would probably cover it, hehe.

impearia I have my cutter and laptop always set up on my desk, and I think it does make a difference. That said, I still kept my manual diecutters too because sometimes it's just quicker to roll out a diecut that way than to fire up the electronics! Did you know you can buy preglittered foam? A pack of six assorted colors of 9x12 glitter foam sheets are $2.79 on sale at Hobby Lobby. I bet I could make my own glittered foam Thickers with those!

Sadly, no Hobby Lobby in Australia, although I could probably get something similar at Spotlight (sort of like our version of Michael's). I don't have a dedicated craft space, and my 2 and 4 year old are both way too fascinated by my Silhouette to keep it out all the time, sigh. Maybe when they are a bit older and/or i have more space. I generally do a huge bunch of cutting all at once, and then keep the cuts available as if i bought a die cut pack. I also really hate to do cutting in the middle of a project. I like all my stuff at hand when I start my page, otherwise my flow gets interrupted. So i would have to know my title ahead of time...

If I can find them for $1.50-$2.00. Lots of old product (especially adhesive) loses its stickiness. I make enough pages that they are just easier (and I like their texture) than my Silhouette. I do use my Silhouette for almost every page, but not plain letters usually.

How they made the jump to the scrapbooking world and are repeated by so many companies is beyond me. Puts me right off buying a kit the minute I see those things. That and buttons.

There is something i don't get at all (the planner trend) but you know, to each his own.

I don't use loose, powder glitter. Because glitter is crafting herpes and I'm remaining celibate. It's just too much of a mess. Flair Flowers (though I have gotten them in kits and classes so have used them a few times) I didn't realize clothes pins were a thing in Scrapbooking, I always assumed they were for cards or other arty stuff. Where have I been? Doiles And so far I have resisted sequins but I can see myself using them in limited quantities on a page or two.

I honestly can't think of anything. I know there are things but even with the lists of others I can't think of anything I would never buy. Never say never!

I don't use bulky embellishments in scrapbook layouts (nothing thicker than chipboard anyway). But I buy anything and everything from the LSS and off the scrapbooking aisles to use on altered art and other projects.

I know better than to buy buttons, I just don't like the look of them on my pages. I don't buy flowers anymore because all they largely do is look pretty on my desk. I definitely won't jump on the tassels or clothespins, they're way too bulky for my pages.

I bought yellow flowers for my Lilo & Stitch layout, but other than that, I never buy flowers. I have 2 boys. 'Nuff said. I have bought a few things thinking I would like/use them and didn't so now I can say I would NEVER buy mists, rhinestones or wire. Wow - looking at everyone else's lists, I realize there isn't too much I would never buy, lol. I never buy Thickers. I just cut my own with my Cameo. I am really going to have to get going w/mine. I got it for Christmas and just haven't taken the time to learn how to use it yet. I will admit I'm a little skeered, lol. But now that you pointed out I can make my own Thickers . . .

Flowers, Thickers and anything bulky. Flowers because I don't know how to use them without looking like a bouqut threw up on my layout, Thickers because once the package is opened they fall off the sheet and stick to everything on my desk, the floor and my albums and bulky things because I'm trying to keep my scrapbooks compact so I don't end up needing to add a wing onto my house to store them.
I have used chipboard, and own some wood veneers (just haven't used them yet) otherwise those would be on the list too.
I hate glitter and just gave away most of my paper with glitter, also glitter sticks to everything but nothing sticks to glitter paper, why is that?

I very seldom buy the collection specific embellishments like stickers or printed chipboard. I like embellishments that I can use on anything like wood veneer, brads, some trims though I seldom buy anymore as I have so many already, Thickers, paperclips and a little flair.

also glitter sticks to everything but nothing sticks to glitter paper, why is that? That drives me crazy! I like some of the glittered papers and like them especially in my Christmas projects but I hate how everything I attach to them wants to fall back off. I end up using double sided tape to make things stick.

I also won't spend $5 on a few premade pinwheels or any other premade layered paper embellishment that I can make myself. I won't buy embellishments either that I can make for myself. I guess that's my embellishments I will never buy.

I hate glitter and just gave away most of my paper with glitter, also glitter sticks to everything but nothing sticks to glitter paper, why is that? I once attached every single item to a layout with brads because my background paper was all glittery and no adhesive would stick, but I had my heart set on this paper. It came out pretty, but I sure learned never to use glitter paper as the background again.

I once ruined a brand new cutting mat by cutting glitter covered cardstock on it with my e-cutter. Ugh, what a mess. Then a friend of mine said, "What? Didn't you know you can put a piece of clear Contact Paper over that before you cut and it won't make such a horrible mess?" Um, NO, otherwise I would have *done* that! Good to know now though!
