I was told it takes a few weeks to start working. But I seemed to notice a difference after several days.

I took it once and slept for The entire month of October 2003 and gained 70 pounds One pill? That was depression, not the lexapro.

It can take weeks to see what it will really do for you. Lots of people give up when they don't feel better right away, or they feel "flat", or their appetites are affected, without giving it a chance to settle in their system and see how it's going to work out. Give it several weeks and only then should you really decide if you want to continue with it or try something else.
