I have created a few of my own backgrounds and I would love to create more! Is anyone interested in using this thread to share ideas/techniques/pics on creating backgrounds?

I often use stamps to create my own backgrounds. Until last week, we had a scrapbook store, and it was a good one. However, even with their great selection of paper, they didn't always have just the right background paper for pictures I wanted to scrap. Here is an example of a layout I have made with a stamped background. Other than using one die and embossing folder (the small wood frame for the stamped title block), it's all stamped. Stamped backgroundI stamped in different colors, then added small details with Copic markers. It really went together fairly fast because I had the perfect stamps for what I wanted to do. I will be interested in seeing how others create their own backgrounds, too. |
