I'll also recommend chewing gum. Go find some flavors you think you'll like and try that. In my case I order bags of bubble gum (like for machines) and I chew that to keep from eating sweets. It satisfies my sweets craving and also it makes me drink water (I don't know why I want water when I chew gum but I do). It's a win/win.

actually, right now I think I have something like, maybe, 6 (?) different kinds of sugarless gum in my purse?? I don't chew it all the time (jaw issues) but it helps when I want something to *do* while I'm working at the computer. The flavor I want depends on my mood, lol! I also would recommend brushing your teeth regularly; once I brush my teeth (which I typically do after my morning break), I don't want to get any food in my teeth for a while.

I started drinking tea and that occupies me because I'm consuming something and then my tummy is full. I also enter all my calories in myfitnesspal so I pre-enter snacks and that stops me from taking a 2nd or 3rd helping. Me too. 2015 was about creating new habits. I drink hot tea in my "snacks" time. Between 3:30 - 5pm. I also drink vanilla decaf with HWC in the evening. Serves a lot of different purposes it acts as dessert it cleanses my palate when I am craving dessert DH often snacks or eats later than me so it gives me something to do. it warms me up. it makes me slow down and sit and relax. For or me it was about substituting good habits for bad habits, can you take a short walk? or I also like the 100 calorie packs of almonds. I know it is cheaper to buy in bulk but portion control is key.
