i'm really curious what your family eats.... they have tons of meat, produce, baked items, staples, they have really gotten into diet foods, gluten free, organic... they have a big dairy dept, frozen foods... we don't care for all their store brands, mostly cereal and coffee, that kind of thing, but i'm having a hard time imagining a menu that wasn't able to at least have part of the items at aldi If it's anything like my local Aldi, I'm not surprised. The one by me is awful. It's tiny and cramped and stocked with mainly snack foods and cereal. Then there's two aisles of non-food items like toys and housewares. I see person after person rave about their Aldi's and how awesome they are. Mine just isn't.

I love Aldi! It's out of the way for me but saves us so much money it's worth the trip. More importantly for me it clecker people are so fast I don't have to wait long in line.

I went there the other day, and they had absolutely nothing that we eat, besides a loe bit of produce. I also don't like that you have to walk down an aisle with candy and crap before getting to the good stuff. I'm glad it's there for those that like it, it's just not for our family. i'm really curious what your family eats.... they have tons of meat, produce, baked items, staples, they have really gotten into diet foods, gluten free, organic... they have a big dairy dept, frozen foods... we don't care for all their store brands, mostly cereal and coffee, that kind of thing, but i'm having a hard time imagining a menu that wasn't able to at least have part of the items at aldi I didn't see anything like that.

Our local store has a very small, rotating selection of name-brand items. Some are pantry items, such as Honey Nut Cheerios, Pringles, or certain candy, for instance. But I have even seen them sell produce labels that are identical to other grocery stores in town. And sometimes a brand name will turn up in the freezer or dairy section as well. They were selling Boca products for awhile as well as Dannon drinkable yogurts. They also sell stock some name brand health & beauty items.

They are building one right around the corner from me.
We have one, but it is a bit of a drive in the not so nicest part of town and a bit dirty.
I am hoping this one is bright and fresh and clean.
