I am not a hoarder That photo is too small, now I want to see a bigger version of hoarder room! Glad to hear the BIL is doing well. I can't believe I am doing this pjaye but, here you go!!

I can't believe I am doing this pjaye but, here you go!! Pffft, they'd laugh you out of HA (hoarders anonymous)! That's only what I'd call "a little bit cluttered" ...although I guess all hoarders have to start somewhere There's lots of good stuff in there, what did you do with it all?

pjaye - that is a great idea for granny squares. I will have to keep it in mind if I ever lose my mind and make another granny square afghan (oh how I loathe stitching them together...). I've decided I'm going to crochet them together along the front, so they have the raised ridge, I actually like that look and the texture it adds like thisI agree though, when I used to knit, sewing it up was my least favourite part, but this crochet method doesn't look too tedious. I've crocheted them from the back before but wasn't fond of the bump, maybe in the front would have been a better idea. I'm have to watch for your post about it when you finish it.

Some I put away (like the tools) some I took to the thrift store, some I took to the consignment shop, and some I kept. I took my kids art wall down and repainted. It's now a calm space.

OK, now that I have had a chance to watch all of the others...... I am so glad that we have so many people doing it this year, I absolutely love watching all of them, keep it up everyone! pjaye : Over 3 million steps!! I wish I'd started in January, I'd love to be able to look back at the end of the year and see how many I've done. I guess it's not too late. I love your crochet squares, and I can't wait to see my socks. I wish I'd thought to get a video of the google bunnies on 29th Feb. tallgirl : You're the one who does all the awesome vacation videos with the GoPro aren't you? I love the videos from the plane, and all the snow videos. Mother daughter hip hop sounds fun, but I'd be embarrassingly unco! Susie_Homemaker : You have some gorgeous dogs there - 2 or 3? And I totally agree with this - "I didn't know how much I'd like 1SE until I did it. One second seems insignificant but it really does give a snapshot of life." I'm glad you've joined in. tlsmi : You've also got some great snow photos, I especially love this one: Is that in your yard? The Birdhouse Lady : I love looking at your photos, and I wish I could see some of them better. I am also doing P365 in conjunction with 1SE, and most of the time I'm getting the same videos and photos each day. I think I mentioned to you in an earlier thread that you could even put your photos into a slideshow. Just for fun I did that with my P365 photos for February. I did it in Windows Movie Maker and it took next to no time. This is it: panda : I love that video of the ocean while driving - where is it? (If you'd prefer not to say for privacy reasons, that's ok.) I loved the video of the iguana/lizard thingy and the cat, and also the turtle. You sure have an interesting collection of animals! Oh, and.... bacon! finaledition : I always love seeing your daughter's cheer videos. And I'm glad to see your son is still loving his starring role in your videos LOL, he's just like my son. Oh, and "Stitches or staples?" jayfab : You've got some gorgeous doggies there. And I had a good laugh over this video: What on earth was she doing??? missfrenchjessica : Did you do the 21 Day Fix? How did it go? I'd like to look into that. I loved your snow videos too, it's funny to see how different the weather is up there in the northern hemisphere. underwatermama : I loved the video with the deer running across the yard. Is that in front of your house? If so, how cool! I wish I'd got a video of the kangaroo that jumped across the road in front of me and another car the other day, but it happened so quickly and the car in front of me was lucky not to hit it - it was massive and most likely would have totalled the car. teddyw : Um...... what the? And those pigs or hogs - they are HUGE! polz : More great inspirational exercise videos, I love seeing them. The leg of lamb made my mouth water! Thanks everyone for sharing little bits of your lives.

Great videos ladies. I enjoyed every one of them. I am seriously thinking of giving up scrapbooking in favor of video. If I do I will join in.

About the girl funny walking - we were having a boring day at work and my coworker/friend was pretending she might not make it to the ladies room. I too am happy so many are making videos, this is a lot of fun. And I have 3 of my friends at work making them too.

I thought we agreed I'd teach you to crochet, then you can make your own socks! If it was for your videos I wouldn't even know we had water parks in Vic. last time I put on any sort of swimwear was 25 years ago. The ensuite looks good, did you add the new tiled niche? I so want one of those! and that odd looking building you have at the end of your photo slideshow, that's not far from me.

AussieMeg No, that's not in front of my house (though we have seen deer in the neighborhood very occasionally), this was in front of a local community center and there are often deer around there in the woods. I was lucky to be that close to them as I had just gotten out of my car. That would be wild to see a kangaroo cross the road!

I know where the charger is. I know where the thingy that plugs into the computer is. But I don't know where the actual Fitbit thing that goes in the band is! After seeing your video I searched high and low for it but I can't find it. When I do I will let you know so we can friend up. It's definitely easier to do when you have someone to measure yourself against. DSO built the niche into the shower, I love it. He ran out of the little tiles so it still isn't finished yet. I had never seen that funny looking building before, it's very cool. We were on our way home from Luna Park last Sunday. I took the photo when we were stopped at the lights.

That would be wild to see a kangaroo cross the road! Not when they run across the road in front of you!! They really are quite silly things. They jump along the side of the road next to you while you're driving along, then out of the blue they just do a 90 degree turn and jump right in front of your car! One of DD's friends lives about 6 minutes from us and if you drive to her place at dusk you have to drive really slowly in case they jump in front of you. They can really do a lot of damage to your car.

This is my first year doing 1SE, after reading about it here of course. My first few days I forgot to video horizontally. I had to make a YouTube channel just now and figure out how to do just the month clip. I copied off someone else and went back and changed my February 29 to the leap year bunnies. Now to see I can do the links to my first two months: youtu.be/eWPDYPBIbN4youtu.be/hLTFe57_fPU

I just downloaded the app. I'm going to have to get creative, we don't share pictures of any of our houses online. I'm going to try it out and see if it'll work and go by our family guidelines for sharing. I do a photo a day, but I also do not share that online. It is just for personal use so I remember to take more pictures.

StacyAngel Give it a try and see if you like it. It's not hard to video things that are unique to you yet don't reveal personal information. Hopefully you'll join in! February was my first month and I've really enjoyed it.

You could even do 2 versions, one for yourself then another one to share here and you could take out the clips of the things that you would prefer to keep private. ETA: If you're using the app you won't be able to make 2 versions, so forget that idea!

AussieMeg I've done the 21 Day Fix, but I'm a drop-out. I just couldn't get the hang of the containers (apparently I must be the only one 'cause everyone else is cool using them!). I do the workouts--but I've been a lazy bum the past little while which is why you don't see the workouts so much near the end of the month . I'm also SO over the snow at this point. I'm waiting for 70s next week and nicer days. I'm over the cold, snow, and long, dark nights. Bring on Spring and Summer!

Buy one get one free at the animal protective league, lol. The pizza is a 'stuffed five meat pizza' from Papa Murphys. It's a pizza with another layer of crust then some more sauce and cheese. Papa Muphys is a take and bake franchise chain.

I am traveling right now, and took a video. I don't like the clip the app picked for me, so I am trying to figure out how to choose my own. Unfortunately I can't recreate the 1 second.
But anyways, thanks. I'm going to give it a go for the rest of this month.

I love all the videos! They are so fun.
Since January I've basically only done weekends, and a lot of mine are photos. I thought I would like that better but I just compiled Jan-March together to see where I'm at and I really do like the video clips. I need to do more of those from now on. Hopefully with Daylight Saving Time around the corner I'll have more light and more things to video during the week.
I'm not thrilled with all of the ambient noise in my clips, I may find a way to edit the finished product to silence or music or something. Has anyone done that?
ETA: Ok I took the sound out and uploaded it to my photobucket. I've never posted a video anywhere before so lets see if this works.
Nope it didn't. I'll have to look into it more tomorrow.

AussieMeg how did you get to run yours for longer? I like that you get a little bit more time each video before it changes. Is there a setting within the app? I don't use the app. I tried it for a few days but decided that I wanted something more flexible. My clips are all 2 seconds long. I also wanted the flexibility to use several videos from one day then skip days if I wanted to. I use Windows Movie Maker to put mine together. It's a simple program to use. I believe that you can change the settings to 1.5 seconds in the app. There were instructions on a previous thread on how to do that. ETA: NicL the other reason that I'm not using the app is because when I started 1SE I still had my old iPhone 4, and the video was really crappy quality. Also, I wanted the flexibility of using either my video camera, DSLR or my waterproof camera to get videos.

But anyways, thanks. I'm going to give it a go for the rest of this month. I've been using the 1SE app and also the video365free app to see which one I like better. The video365 has an option to make your videos 1,3,5 or 10 seconds and you always get to pick your clip if it goes over that time. I don't video within the app, I just video with my normal phone app then the video365 lets me import that. I like it better too because I have the option to put a title/caption on each picture plus I can set the merged videos to music. I think that's on the paid version though ($1.99). Still not a bad deal.
