I would love to play with puppies. I have two more years until I retire and am checking the help wanted sections. No puppy petting jobs offered yet. Check into volunteering with a guide-dog raising group. You can just google "raise guide dogs" and your state. These groups raise guide dog puppies from 2 - 18 months old. You don't have to raise one on your own to be part of the group. You can also just be a puppy sitter OR just go to the meetings/outings and get to handle the dogs. We've recently gotten involved in a group and it is really enjoyable.

Run an animal day care or a rescue facility. It's precisely what I will do if I ever win the lottery.

If I could CHOSE and not have to interview, try out, etc. I'd love to be a TV Cook show host. I actually did a segment about 20 years ago on the local channel. Just one show as the guest cook, but it was a blast! I'm a bit of a ham, as well as a cook, so this is probably the thing most up my alley.

I'd design home decor. For example; be on the design team that creates the warmers for Scentsy.

Really pie in the sky? I'd love to have a mosaic art studio with an attached coffee shop. Hey, it's a dream. I know that wouldn't really be profitable or sustainable.
I'd also love to volunteer at a museum and possibly learn enough to be a docent.

I'd love to be a travel writer.
Why not get paid for jetting off to interesting and distant locations? I always want to blab and blab about my trips, but I do keep in mind that most people really don't care all that much about where you stayed and what you ate.
I'd also like to work in a museum. I'd enjoy making decisions about where and how objects and art are displayed.

Honestly, I would love to own my own store. Something where I sell eclectic home goods.
But my retirement job is delivering Meals on Wheels. I think it would be nice to chat with homebound seniors.

Maybe designing greeting cards or planning and putting together containers with various plants to sell for people to use on porches, patios or in their homes.

Delivering flowers. I think most everyone would greet you with a big smile.
Funeral homes would not be part of my job description. (Or hospitals unless it was new mothers)

I would love to work as a bailiff at the court house. I have been on jury duty twice and find court very interesting.

I'd love to be a travel writer. I love travel and I'm not a bad writer, but I don't know that I have the discipline to work with a deadline, and I certainly don't have the discipline to work without one.
I'd also really like to be a researcher for a novelist. That would probably be my top dream job. Tell me what you need to know and I'll find out for you.
But what I would probably do if I won the lottery is just do a lot less of what I do now, preferably working as a helper or consultant rather than the lead on a project. My ideal schedule would be 2 weeks travel (either for for work or for fun) alternating with 2 weeks at home (not working or very little work.)

I would work for a non-profit fund raising, marketing, working with volunteers and/or event planning. Have done it as a paying job and as a volunteer. Volunteered heavily with the Boys & Girls Club doing that for 9 years. No longer able to do so in the same capacity with my current job.

It's funny but I can't imagine doing anything else (I work in HR). I think I would enjoy raising guard dogs or participating in a reading program that uses dogs to hang with the kids while they learn. I really enjoy dogs

I wouldn't work at all. I'd work with my own horses, I'd take up my photography again, I'd finally get some rest and throw in some volunteer work to round things out. Now if I could only win a cajillion $$$ to make it so

I would love to travel especially to the national parks I think it would be awesome to be a travel writer/photographer.
I also would like to do more creative things. Not sure exactly what.
I used to to want to work in a museum or be a forensic anthropologist (like Bones) fortunately there aren't enough deaths in our area to support one full time.
I have also thought it would be fun to have a little bistro with fun foods or to learn to make good home brew beer.

I've always wanted to start a family business buying a luxury lodge and then taking clients on adventure tours out west. Each son would be a guide and responsible for their adventure. DH and I would have a solid staff for marketing, accounting and upkeep.
