I used to love Elementary, but I know I have 5 or 6 episodes taped that I haven't watched yet. So maybe I've been weaning off it too I like the two of them though and it's a different enough show. But I do think it was better in the beginning than it has been this last season. I see your point, gmcwife1 - some of the episodes this season haven't gripped me like earlier seasons did. But it's still one of the few shows I have to watch as soon as it shows up on my dvr. I'm jealous you have 5 or 6 new episodes to watch; sounds like my dream binge-watch scenario, lol. Yes, I know what you mean I should sit down and really relax and enjoy them I've just been busy lately! hmmm, maybe Sunday will be the day

I just finished the next to the last episode on Amazon Prime yesterday. I was bawling!!!!! I almost don't want to watch the last one. I envy you, merilyn - at least you have one more new episode to watch! Oh I loved the newsroom. That is a show I wished had continued along with Forever. I was starting to get tired of Elementary and then this last episode was more like the older episodes and I am hooked all over again.

I totally agree about Elementary. I realized the other night that it is the only show left on TV that I feel I absolutely MUST watch. Even the NCISs that I'm still fond of are starting to bore me a bit. Elementary is just so good and so complex that I'm still hooked on it.
Does anyone besides me wish Sherlock and Joan would end up with each other?

I haven't watched the others this season, but I will miss Mysteries of Laura. I LOVE those bratty kids and how she loves them anyway. I love the fact that Debra Messing looks much more average build, doesn't dress like a diva, and wins against the bad guys--and sometimes her boss and coworkers with her brains. Great female role model. The kids are barely in the show now vs the beginning which is good. They were too crazy.

Castle was the only one on that list that I watched regularly, but the last two seasons have been weird. I got really angry when they ruined the wedding by having Rick kidnapped. It was a slap in the face to longtime viewers who'd waited for that moment. And this season of them pretending to not be together to keep Castle safe is just beyond ridiculous. I'll miss Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic, but enough is enough. I used to love this show but when I realized I felt like watching was a chore I had to do vs looking forward to it I just deleted it. I did that to a lot of shows. I think I deleted 10 series this year.

Under Bones it had an update: renewed for the 12th and final season. That one and Castle are the only 2 I watch and both are kinda getting long. Yeah I thought I heard Bones has one more season and that's it. I've enjoyed it, but everything needs to end at some stage - the storylines just get repetitive or silly. Haven't seen any of the others.

Bones is part way through a season now and then they have one more season before they're done.

The only one we watch that is on this list is Person of Interest....and it has become a bit "over the top." I love Person of Interest. I'm up to Season 3 Episode 20. I can see what you mean about it becoming a bit over the top though. The only other one on the list that I watch is CSI Cyber. I enjoy it but I don't love it, it's just something to watch because nothing else is on at that time. Several of the others on the list I haven't even heard of: The Player, Mysteries of Laura, Truth Be Told, Second Chance, Cooper Barrett's Guide.... I guess if they're going to be cancelled they won't even make it to the screens over here.

I thought they had already cancelled 'The Player?' I didn't think it was that bad in a suspend real life, action hero kind of way. Then again, I am/was a huge fan of 'Strike Back' and Philip Winchester was one of the lead characters and I have a soft spot for him.

On that list, I only watch The Good Wife but it has already been cancelled. I think it's time and I think it would completely jump the shark if it went on much longer.
DH watched the Muppets so he'll be bummed if that show gets cancelled.

My hubby and I enjoy watching Mysteries of Laura together - we don't have very many shows we both like. I read an update that said the season finale last week (that they didn't even bill as a season finale) got pretty good ratings, so it may survive. They didn't expect it to survive the first year and it got renewed. We'll survive if it doesn't but I'd hate to lose another show I love.

I actually can't wait for Bones to end. I am shocked I said that but it seems like any series (book or TV) overstays its welcome at some point and Bones has. I would for sure include Castle in there as well. The writers have done a disservice to the viewers. Although it might have been by necessity, I heard rumors that the two stars don't really care for each other. I do like CSI Cyber so I would be bummed about that.

I haven't heard of many on the list. The only one I watch is Castle and this season has not been good at all. It hasn't been good since they had Castle miss his own wedding. It's time for them to wrap it up.

Does anyone besides me wish Sherlock and Joan would end up with each other? I've wondered if this would happen but I don't know. I think they would be better off as friends and have other romantic interests. Joan in particular needs a romantic interest. I don't think she has gone out with anyone since her last guy was killed. Sherlock was starting to see the female programmer from an earlier case. I haven't seen this week's episode yet so I don't know if they are continuing that.

OH noooooooo! I love the Muppets - so many quick, funny lines - you have to listen closely to catch. They also add things from the original show for fans. I hope it gets saved!

Well it happened sooner than expected on Grimm---Adelaide is turning back to a hexenbeast in last night's episode. New plot twist along with the "stick" they found.

papersilly , I actually thought of your post as soon as that happened! The link SweetieBsMom shared on page 1 lists Grimm as "a safe bet" so I'm going with that. I do hope that whenever the series does end up leaving, the viewers are able to get a decent finale to send it off.
