I relocated in April have tried supporting my LSS but the owner at one store is very rude and the other store has hardly any new product and nothing PL related because she doesn't like it. I am running out of place to shop now that 2 Peas is gone. I have a few questions about your online buying habbits if you would give me feed back that would be great.
What products do you buy online most. Would you buy 1/2 or 1/4 PL kits to keep cost down Do you by 12x12 paper How do you feel about paying shipping What is your favorite product right now How do you feel about Kit of the Months pros and cons please
Thanks Sharon

I buy 12x12 paper more than anything else.
I refuse to pay shipping. There are too many places I can buy SB products without paying shipping.

Sharon, There are many on-line stores available for you to shop at, as well as many etsy stores. Scrapbook.com, A Walk Down Memory Lane, Blue Moon Scrapbooking, A Cherry on Top, and Simon Says Stamp are all very popular. And here is a thread about places to shop online. There is also amazon, archivers, and the chain stores online. Etsy offers lots of examples, including our very own pea, Ashley Calder. There are many more etsy shops and you can search for them. I'm not posting to discourage you in any way, but if you are serious about selling online then it pays to know the competition and what you can bring to the table. I have done very little specialty shopping online. (etsy styled offerings) However, as soon as my allowance which is tied up in savings for some unneeded, heavy duty kitchen items, I am planning to shop Ashley's shop, she has lot of cute stuff. Typically though, I'm more of larger store shopper. They generally have better shipping and I love the spend X and get free shipping ones. I will not buy at a shop if they have outrageous shipping. Come on, we all know how much the flat rate boxes are at the USPS. I will buy almost anything online, especially with archivers gone: paper, embellishments, mixed media, stamping supplies, tools. With kids, on-line is easier. My last online order was for stamps, coordinate dies, wood veneer paper, wood veneer embellishments and flair. My next will probably have more mixed media stuff - stencils and such. I don't do PL, although I do use the cut apart cards and print and cut cards. So I don't buy PL kits. KOTM's - I love that they are all pre-coordinated, but I typically don't buy them, although I always think about it. lol. I probably wasn't a lot of help. But there you have it.

Also, if you want to buy 1/2 or 1/4 PL kits to keep cost down you should check The ScrapYard on FB. Lots of people do that there.

What products do you buy online most. I buy personalized and theme paper Would you buy 1/2 or 1/4 PL kits to keep cost down yes, I would want to buy only what I would use Do you by 12x12 paper That is what I primarily buy. I also buy dotto adhesive when I can get it cheap How do you feel about paying shipping I hate paying shipping. I want the cheapest shipping possible. I once ordered paper and told them to fold it in half so they could fit it in an envelope. I was going to cut it anyway. What is your favorite product right now I like enamel brads and enamel dots How do you feel about Kit of the Months pros and cons please Would not use it - just not in the market

I buy paper and embellishments and pretty much anything new. All of my LSS's have closed so I am left with only the box stores to shop at locally. For the PL kits I definitely would have interest in a partial kit. The core kits are so big and I like to mix it up. As for shipping. I don't mind paying shipping if it's a reasonable cost. I think part of the problem becomes when someone wants just a few sheets of paper and the cost of shipping is more than double the cost of the paper. It's hard to justify paying for shipping. Of course it doesn't make sense in that scenario for a store to ship for free because they would be losing money. And I love kits! So i would be all over checking out new kits.

I'll just say this: There are plenty of bigger-sized on-line stores that I have already had experience with to want to shop at a new on-line store, until they have proven themselves with other people first. They have plenty of varied products and stock, reasonable or compensated shipping (with sale promo codes) and good delivery times. Unless a store has something I can't get anywhere else, I won't pay shipping just to get a few things at a smaller store and then have to get the rest somewhere else.
Would you really open an on-line store because you think you have no where to shop?
