That is great news. I am worried my children will graduate college and really struggle to find jobs. It wasn't like that when I finished college in 1987. In fact, with my major-accounting, most students had jobs before graduation. My job was locked in sometime in March so it was a nice situation.

Hi despite what is happening today in my family, I have some exciting news to share. My son came upstairs to my room last night and told me that the dealership where he is working has offered him an apprentice position when he graduates at the end of the summer. They would like him to stay with Mercedes Benz and work for them permanently. This is his dream position and exactly where he wants to be. They said he could potentially be moved to Audi, BMW or Volkswagen but the service manager likes what he has done so far and thus offered him a position. There are several other guys waiting for an apprentice position there as it is and to be offered one before graduation is pretty exciting. My son, being part Japanese and all and has to humble himself because of this, wouldn't show any emotion when he was telling me this, but inside I am sure he was bursting with pride. I am so happy for him! I can't say I am exactly surprised as he works very hard, is easy to get along with and his grades-well-he is at the top of his class. He holds the #1 seat. I am sure they have talked to his instructors and have told him about DS. I am just so happy for him! Thanks for letting me share! Congrats... I am going to give you a little advice..... My BIL started with Land Rover 17 years ago and started washing cars. He eventually made it almost to General Manager of the whole dealership. Due to being sold to someone else he never again advanced. Just saying it is an awesome job but to always watch your back when dealing with owners, etc. My BIL just left after 17 years and now is in charge of an entire RV dealership (and not a tiny one..one of the biggest in America)... he didn't want to leave Land Rover but powers to be make it very hard to work up... Just a little FYI...We are praying this is THE job for him!
