Yea a friend went viral for posting a video of her son crying after being read a book. She would say "the end" and he would cry. It was cute at first but then strangers started diagnosing him with all kinds of things because "he didn't like transitioning." It was disturbing. Luckily it calmed down about as fast as it blew up. I saw that it was very cute! People need to get over themselves!

I have a friend who posted a picture of her cat making a funny face while eating salad (actually it was cat grass or something but the way the photo as taken it looks like she's eating salad). It was made into a meme that said "This salad tastes like I'd rather be fat" or something like that and even George Takei shared it. It pops up in my Facebook feed all the time.

No, I have not. And I am grateful for that and hope I never do. If anyone I know has gone viral I am unaware of it at this time, so it's viral nature has yet to reach me.

Yes, my son is the Military man being prayed with at the airport that went Viral about 2 years ago. The original picture has over 2 million likes and over 200k comments, and over 1.2 million shares.Plus all the other memes made out of it etc... Some of the comments are so loving or uplifting and others are so hurtful. Some of the outright lies of "that's my husband, brother, son, student" just make us shake our head.
We are now friends with the gal that took it. My son keeps in contact with her and has been to one of her concerts when she played with Miranda Lambert. She is a lovely person and I will always be grateful she took the picture and asked my son and the gentleman praying for him if she could use it.

I can see why the video of the cat and dog went viral. That is hilarious.
