She was always so upbeat and optimistic despite her cancer that I'm having a hard time accepting that she isn't going to beat it in the end. She's a hell of a fighter, though, and I admire her for that.

I too though of Bethann when I found out about 2peas today. I quietly followed her story and was saddened by the news of her battle with cancer wasn't going well. I always thought she would be one of the ones who made it cause she was so positive and full of life! My prayers are with her and her family at this difficult time.

Keeping up with Beth was the first thing I thought of when I learned that Two Peas was closing. I'm glad to have found this board, and praying for Beth to have comfort and peace.

Oh no. I have been on vacation, and missed a lot of this. I am definitely thinking of her family, and saying a prayer tonight.

Thanks for sharing Beth's status with everyone. I've been reading Kevin's updates on FB with a heavy heart. When I received my diagnosis, I really looked to Beth, as well as several other peas, as she dealt with her diagnosis and treatment so beautifully (both literally and figuratively--she is as gorgeous bald as she is with hair!). I feel unbelievably sad.

I also had thought of her when the board closed. I hope all of these warm thoughts send her comfort. I also appreciate the updates.

I also followed her journey quietly but have kept her in my thoughts and prayers. Having gone through this last month with my father-in-law, I continue to pray for the entire family. Thank you for continuing to provide updates.

Praying for Beth and her family. Not being able to get updates on Beth was one of the most upsetting things about 2peas closing. That is the first thing that came to my mind as well! I hope she has the designer purse that a Pea tracked down at Target for her near her bedside as a reminder of how special she is to us.

I am SO saddened by this. We are friends on FB, and I have been so inspired by her strength over the years. A beautiful woman inside and out.

I wish there was some way we could save her posts and her threads on 2ps for her kids' sake. That message board was like a time capsule, you know? I sometimes envisioned my daughter finding and reading posts that I had made over the years and learning about a different side of me that she never knew. I wish Beth's kids could have that to remember her by.
How could we do that? I know that the posts only go back a year or so but maybe we could save the ones that are still there. And I wonder if old ones could be found by the Wayback Machine?

I don't know Beth personally but I've followed her journey through 2peas. when I was telling DH about the boards closed yesterday, I told him that the only thing I will wonder about is how Beth is doing. aside from the usual drama and nastiness that occasionally popped up on the old NSBR, there were also moments of genuine concern and care expressed by the community as a whole. Beth's journey is one of them. I'm glad someone is still updating us about it.

I think of her so often and I'm glad to see there are peas that are in touch with her family through facebook and appreciate that you all update us. I really enjoyed her on Two Peas (doubt she would remember me), she was inspirational and positive and overall just a nice person. I too thought she would beat it. My heart breaks for her family.
