Looks like you had a marvelous time. Your ds is adorable!
I live in the suburbs and two of my kids live in the city (north & south of the loop) so we spend a lot of time down there. Having just come back from NYC, I appreciate Chicago so much more for it's cleanliness and not having naked (yes, naked - in Times Square) young women walking down Michigan Avenue.

What did you think of Michael Jordan's steakhouse? We are staying at the Intercontinental this summer and I think it is inside the hotel. DS wants to eat there. I think he thinks the Space Jam characters will be there LOL.
Also has anyone tried Texas de Brazil in Chicago? I love me some Brazilian steakhouse.

What did you think of Michael Jordan's steakhouse? Honestly, it surprised me in both quality of food and service. My son chose that restaurant and I was fully prepared to overpay for an ordinary meal. Instead, every single item we ordered was phenomenal. His bone-in rib eye was tender and very flavorful. My pan-seared scallops with sweet potato bacon puree was also impressive. We were not disappointed in a single dish we ordered. We did not get a dessert as we were too full, but the 23-layer chocolate cake looked amazing. We should have gotten it to go. The service there was completely on-point as well for a fine dining establishment. (The more expensive Cite restaurant we dined in the next night had really poor service for a restaurant of any level.)

spongemom Scrappants Awesome update. Your mama is adorable You must be very proud of your son. I should have warned you - I blame Lou Malnatti's for DH's heart attack, LOL. Not really, of course.

Congrats to your handsome son! Don't take this personally, but the picture of you at the top of the Willis Tower makes me want to hurl. It's not your appearance, of course, it's the height.
