Mainly smiles or frowns but with one or two friends we go a bit mad with them sometimes:grin:

Actually, I can't wait until I get a new phone because my ancient 4s doesn't have all the cool color emojis so I always have to send the plain text character ones!

Lots of emogees for my DDs (as many as possible!), but I limit myself to just one when texting with friends.

I use them all the time, especially the facial expressions when I'm on WhatsApp and messenger.

I do use them often but not always. I feel that a smiley goes a long way in setting the tone of a text that might otherwise have the reader wondering since they can't hear my voice or read my body language.

I don't use them, but I'm not into cutsie and rarely text. For me texts are for quick time critical short messages when I can't use the phone. There are a few people who send me emails and texts with lots of emojis, and I always find myself shaking my head and wondering if they're 12. I expect them from my teen DD, but It just seems so strange for an adult to send a message full of emoji, hearts and flowers, but Maybe I've spent too long in the professional realm.

i don't have any. just the standard's of smiley face, unhappy face, wink and tongue out. although i use them liberally thru my texts!! my eyes aren't great and i have refused to get reading glasses so far.... so when people use them i usually have to text back and ask them what it was. and i "lol".

I don't appreciate it when our School Superintendent uses them in her communication, emails or tweets.

I don't use them on my phone because they're on that separate language keyboard. I switch between English and Spanish a lot - having that third keyboard in the mix was just a pain in the neck, so I eliminated it.
Maybe there's another way to get the cute emojis? I don't know. My kids use them all.the.time. I use the old colon/close-parenthesis for a smile on my phone. *shrug*
