I started scrapping 8 1/2x11 almost 20 years ago. Then I switched to 12x12 about 3 years in. Now I do mainly 12 with a lot of pocket pages thrown in for big events. Actually I'm really liking doing one 12x12 page with a facing pocket page! I also love doing some mini albums for certain events, a short trip, my son's marching band pics, that sort of thing. I'm a big fan of simple stories 6x8 albums, perfect size for just about anything!!

I'm still a traditional scrapbooker doing 12x12 layouts. But, my style has changed a lot. I think it's much more sophisticated now. I have a better sense of design. I do slip in some pocket pages when I have a lot of photos that I want to include. Everything about this is me.

For the most part, I am a traditional scrapper. Digi just holds no appeal for me. I need to feel my paper & hear my taper runner, lol. I've made 2 mini albums. They were gifts. I started w/8.5x11, but moved to 12x12 w/my photos from 2004 onward. Just needed more real estate. This is how I do most of my photos. Paper, embellishments, techniques, titles, journaling, etc. I started Project Life in 2010, but like justjac mentioned, it is to document our every day life. Mostly stuff I wouldn't devote a whole 12x12 page to, but still want to remember: my love of Yankee Candle, the collection of empty water bottles next to the Xbox, the cherry tree blooming in our backyard, etc. I am a chrono scrapper. I have tried to be more flexible, but it is just. not. in me. Like myboysnme & cupcakepeddler, love me some themed, matchy-matchy stuff! However, I must say that I take WAAAY fewer photos now that my boys are older (they really don't do a whole lotta photo worthy stuff as teens, do they?) and I may end up doing PL as my main way of scrapping once I hit 2015 or so. Don't get me wrong - I am currently scrapping May 2004, so I have lots adhesive & embellishments in my future!

I've done everything mentioned here except PL. I like to switch it up. I like doing almost everything, but I found I don't enjoy looking at the mini albums when I'm finished. This week I'm doing 12x12 post bound with those page protectors that fold out because I had a bunch of them and I thought I should try to use them. I don't like them, though. I don't think they always get opened.

I started scrapping 8 1/2 x 11 in three ring binders 22 years ago. In 2000 I switched to 12x12 and still scrap that way today. I have done a few mini albums, mostly class or special project stuff. I have a collection of PL stuff, but have yet to venture into that. Not sure I ever will.

I thought I'd share some photos of my most recent scrap journal/smashbook creation. My friend, Linda, and I have loved horses ever since we can remember. For her birthday, I'd decided to make her a horse-themed journal/smashbook (got the idea off pinterest.com when I'd seen a smashbook made from an old Black Beauty book). She's not into scrapbooking but I know she likes journals and hope she likes this one. I tried to make it as flexible and interesting as possible....pockets, pocket pages, postcard tabbed embellies, library cards with memorabilia of our equestrian past and other goodies. I also included baggies full of extra journaling spots and cut scraps for added journaling, photos, etc. An archival pen, glue stick, non-stick scissors, two small acrylic journaling stamps, acrylic block and black ink pad are also included.

Another traditional scrapper here, mostly 8.5x11. I made a 12x12 Christmas album for my mom and decided I liked that size for travel albums. I love multi pic layouts and my style is simple, never got into bulky embellishments. I plan to incorporate more of a Tim Holtz feel into future albums since my family is now older and I have lots of vintage photos to work with too. I also want to do an "all about me" album/art journal. I regretted not asking my parents/grandparents more questions and realized my children really don't know "me" either, thought this would be a great way to do it. I've been scrapping for over 15 years and probably have enough photos to keep me busy until I die (I'm a slow scrapper).

Well, my first sb was a 12x12. I used brads, ribbon, lace. It was a whole mishmash. I was just so excited to be starting a new hobby that I grabbed for anything pretty.
I still do some 12x12, but mostly 8.5x11, with my December Daily always being 8x8.
I don't use metal in my albums anymore. Now I'm all about the enamel dots.

The majority of my scrapping is 12x 12 WrM albums with the odd 8 x 8 and I do a December Daily most years since 2007 plus I love making travel books.
I have plenty to do but have done plenty as well. Scrapping is still my main go to past time.

I'm a traditional scrapper too. I started out doing 8.5x11 but quickly ventured into 12x12. I really doing like doing 2pagers but really enjoy project life in the weekly format. PL started in 2010 for me and I skipped 2011, did 2012 as a digital book with more highlights of our year and then when promptly back to the traditional weekly format from 2013 on. I only do one album per year keeping the pages flat.
For my traditional scrapbooking I scrapbook how I like. For a while I kept trying to make every page different and unique but I've come to the realizauthat it doesn't matter if I place my photo/photos in the same spot every page or use a similar design for each page. If I like it it works. I do know that I include a lot more journalling on my pages and the dates. I've got some layouts when my DD was a baby that has 1 picture and one piece of paper. No journaling, no title, no indication of who this baby was or anything.

I still do traditional scrapping in a 12x12 format, but sometimes I consider jumping ship to digital photobooks. Haven't yet.
I also really enjoy making mini-albums. They're just cute and fun.
