Great race today.
Bali is so beautiful & these were tough challenges, especially in the hot sun.
Interesting finish.

the guys chanting on the beach..that is the monkey dance..we watched a short version of that when we were at bali..after 1 hour ...you were in a trance... the performance went on for 2 hours. in the dark with a campfire. we loved bali. the authentic dance goes on 3 days. eating hot spicy food in the hot humid weather makes you feel cooler..very common there.

The guys should have saved their express pass for this leg of the race.
The basket of fruits was good but the snake? Surprised that Dana didn't freak out.
Good job on the roadblock.
Those bags of water were heavy & you could see the sunburn on Rachel.
Don't you think all that salt would make you so thirsty?
All of the kites looked so beautiful flying in the sky.
Another foot race to the finish.

I think they should have all run this race with a snake around their necks from the start - that would have cut out much of the yelling we've had all season.

Last night's episode was so enjoyable!
I so wanted the team with the girl who did the salt challenge to come in before Brody & what's his name. She worked so hard carrying that water.
Those kites were the bomb.
I'm rooting for mama & Cole to win. They won't. But, I so want to see them win. They are great together and mama is a tough cookie.

IIRC, Brody needs to complete the rest of the challenges as these are to be divided equally. This may change the outcome of the final legs of this race.

I was worried about the poor snake on Dana. She was running and its head was flailing all around. Thought it was going to get brain damage or a broken neck. Lol!

Dana did great with the snake as did everyone else.
I wonder how the results would have been if the first group had completed the first part the correct way, the first time.

I was so hoping Rachel & Zach would beat out Brodie & Kurt! I want Tyler & Korey or Burnie & Ashley to win. I think Cole & his mom have had a great partnership and attitude, but they have made so many mistakes and were so lucky to get two nonelimination legs, I just can't root for them to win. I hadn't noticed how much Kurt was carrying their team. Brodie gave up on the water puzzle so quickly in the last episode and they used the express pass to stay in first place, not just to avoid elimination. They could easily have had second place on that leg if he had put a little more effort into it and used the express pass this week. This week was the first time I heard tension between them and it was all coming from Brodie. I get the feeling he is not a good loser and is going to struggle in the next few legs. Having Kurt do most of the Roadblocks may have kept them at the front of the pack and given them 4 first place legs, but it isn't likely to give them the only prize that really counts on the final leg.

I think Brodie is lazy and gives up very easily. I feel like he's the kind of person that has never had to face anything difficult in his life. I recently read there profiles. Kurt, in addition to being a social media star, still works full-time and his biggest accomplishment is beating cancer. Brodie is a full time social media star and his biggest accomplishment is winning a national frisbee contest. Not that that's not cool… But I think that first mate might be his only "thing." I don't like him. I don't hate him… I just don't like him.

Oh my, I have a true snake phobia. Comes from a near childhood (well early teen experience) of almost getting bitten by a rattlesnake. The whole shake, shake, shake of the rattle and everything. That snake was right behind a group of us girls who were sitting on some rocks and resting during a 3 day hike up some mountains in Virginia. My sister was there and she has the same snake phobia. We girls got up and ran so fast away from that snake. This was in the early 1970's, no cell phones back then. We were hiking with a group of young teen boys too, and our Episcopalian minister. No one was bitten, but I think to myself what would have happened if one of us had been? We were 2 1/2 days up into those mountains.
Anyway, I don't think I could have done that challenge. Our youngest sister had a python like that (just as big) as a pet and kept it in a huge, plexiglass cage. I could barely look at it from across the room. I had to be out of the house when she'd take it out of the cage. Kudos to all of the racers who were able to make it through that challenge.
I agree with all of you about Kurt and Brodie. I was really hoping they'd get eliminated last night. It was sad to see Rachel and Zach go home but I wonder, why as a team would they have chosen for Rachel to do that salt challenge anyway? All of the other teams seemed to realize (at least those with male/female teams) how physical the challenge was.
Brodie's cockiness was really starting to bug me and hopefully this leg of the race has brought him down a notch or two. They were such idiots to use that pass when they did and I mentioned that (although not as strongly) last week. He also annoyed me when he was looking at Rachel's kite (I think it was hers) to get an idea of how to put his together. If I was her I would have made some comment to him. I guess it didn't matter because they did have an example to look at but if I was her it would have bugged me.
Rachel and Zach made a comment of wanting to use the money to adopt internationally and how expense that was, so I didn't want them going home last night. I would much rather have seen Brodie and Kurt, Dana and what's his name, or even Mama and Cole go home over them. Although my favorites are still Rachel and Bernie with Tyler and Corey being my top favorite team.

Rachel & Zack didn't realize how physical that task was, i don't think. I seem to recall hearing him say something along the lines of wishing he had walked a bit further to see what the others were doing before they decided who would do the task. I felt awful for them in this leg. Then, when I am sure Rachel was still sore and exhausted, they had to to row & swim to the mat instead of just running. Until this week I didn't realize the dynamic between Kurt & Brodie with Kurt seemingly carrying them. I thought it was crazy that Brodie decided to make them use the pass on that puzzle last week, but I still didn't realize that Kurt had been doing all of the road blocks. I think when Blair was there that aspect of the race distracted me from anything else regarding Kurt & Brodie (other than that they won a lot). It will be really interesting to see what happens going forward. Now that Zach & Rachel are gone I am definitely hoping that when it really counts, Ashley & Burnie will finally come in first place instead of second. Although I'd be equally happy to see Korey & Tyler or Sherri & Cole win, too. (Sorry if I'm killing the spellings on any of these names. There are too many ways to spell them all and i can't recall the correct ways for these folks.)

Oh, and I'm at a point where I don't even think about any of the teams being youtubers anymore. I was so aware of it at the beginning, but now that everyone is more focused on the competition, I'm just not aware of the differences between them and any other team the last few legs.

Have you also noticed that the teams are not as overly helpful as they were in the beginning? They are still friendly but are more secretive, such as not announcing that the express pass was used.

They definitely seem to have have reached the point where they see this as a real game that they have a chance to win instead of just another fun way to promote themselves and their youtube channel. They're getting down to business, now. (For the most part. There was one point when Sherri was telling people where to go and I was thinking "You need to catch up this leg, girl! This is not the time for helpful hints with Sherri!" )

I too felt so bad for Rachel. They made their decision too quickly (as others have mentioned) for Rachel to take that task. The others walked closer up to the task and got a look at what it involved. I can't imagine what that felt like on Rachel's poor sunburned shoulders. I was so proud of her though for sticking with it and getting that task completed as quickly as she did--that was quite an accomplishment.
The snake part of the challenge wouldn't have bothered me at all, but to have to do that if you have a snake phobia (as Debbie mentioned) would be awful.
The kites though, oh my word those were gorgeous. I want to build and fly a kite like that!!
Sorry to see you go Zack and Rachel. I wish it had been the guys. You ran a good race though, nothing to be ashamed of!

Oh, I see now why Rachel and Zack chose her to do the challenge-they had no idea what it involved (that it was that physical) when they decided she'd do it. I too think she did an amazing job and thought a lot of her for keeping her chin up and getting on with the task, digging in and finishing it. Oh my gosh, can you imagine if it had been Dana and what's his name (can never remember her partner's name) in that same situation? Oh my-we would have heard so much whining and derogatory cussing directed at him coming from her mouth if Dana had been in Rachel's shoes. Goes to show you that a person's true character comes out at a time like that.
Oh yeah, on the snake issue. I forgot to mention that it was only this year that I finally got to the point where I could see snakes on TV and not have to cover my eyes. Crazy, right? They show them so much on Survivor that I finally got used to it. Maybe there is hope for me yet. I'm not afraid of spiders, bugs, mice or anything else. Just snakes.
