When I come home from work, my jumps up on the end of the counter and rolls around on it until I spank him.
I also have to hide anything with fake fur (stuffed animals, halloween costumes, etc) because he tears them up.

One of our cats will get on the bookcase and rattle the bedroom doorknob to get to DH. She has chosen him as her "one." She will also meow incessantly until he opens the door for her.
Another one will meow a certain way if she has a "present" for us.

He slaps us if he's annoyed with us for getting in his space. This usually happens when we walk too close to him in the hall He also humps our blankets I have a blanket humper too.. his name is Murfee and he has been doing since he was 9 weeks old! So strange and mildly disturbing.

We have a Drinkwell fountain water thing, with a bowl and water reserve jug. Every time she goes to drink water - e.v.e.r.y time! - she digs at the bowl like she's trying to either get into it or make the water come out and then proceeds to drink out of the flowing water spout... sideways. Which, of course, gets the side of her face all wet. She never drinks out of the bowl! Strange beast!

I have a cat that plays fetch. Like a dog. He will bring one of his squeaky mice and drop it on me. I throw it. He races after it. He brings it back and drops it on me. He stares at me. I throw it. He races after it. He brings it back and drops it on me. He stares at me. Over and over and over again. When he is done he takes the mouse drops it on me and walks away with disdain in his eyes. It's actually pretty funny. He really is like a dog. He is huge and when I throw mousie for him, he goes so fast and weighs so much that he slides out of control across the wood floors. Personally, I think that is his favorite part.

He pees in our bathroom sink. I have one that has been doing this - I think I know which one it is but haven't ever seen her do it.

I have one that's obsessed with the cloth reusable grocery bags. Then the thing that creeps me out is in the evenings she'll get into a corner and stare at the wall and then try climbing up it and meow ar it .... Like "someone" is there! ....shivers!

One of our cats eats the random dog food that sometimes ends up on the floor. Of course, it's the one who thinks (and acts like) she's a dog half the time.

oh, I forgot-- one of our other cats looooves playing with drinking straws.
I usually use a straw if I'm drinking something really cold and she is a whiz at stealing the straw right out of the glass and not even spilling the liquid in the glass while she's doing it (thank goodness!). Later we find them under the refrigerator or stove (or in the dog's poop, if he gets to them before they disappear under the furniture).

Our old cat would give you a butt massage if you just stood next to him and didn't pet him. He shocked many an unsuspecting visitor.

She'll sit someplace with her nose right up against a wall or something and stay there for a while. FYI - This could be "head-pressing" and could be a sign of disease. Here's an article about it. purrfectlove.net/2015/03/know-the-difference-head-pressing/I hope it's just a kitty quirk and nothing serious! We lost our cat Murphy at age 23 to kidney failure and she did this in her last days. We had to make the hard decision to have her put down.

When it's time for me to go to bed, my cat hides beside a dresser so when I leave the bathroom and walk down the hall, he is out of my sight. Then when I approach the dresser, he pops out at me with a little meow as if to "surprise" me. Then he lies on the floor for goodnight petting. It's such an odd habit he developed from nowhere but he just is compelled to "surprise" me every night.

Odd and very annoying. One of our cats likes nothing better than to get his paws on a roll of TP. He fights to death with the TP! We often come home to a house covered in shredded TP. with my cat, it is the paper towel roll

I have two. My big boy (23 lbs!) is kind of standoffish and only has a deep love for DH. Oddly, though, he likes strangers and will come around when new people are in the house.
The one in my signature is kind of dopey. He freaks out over strangers and sits at the top of the stairs and howls. He unnerves our petsitters but he's completely harmless. He also adores my DS (age 15) and will bang his head on the door if DS shuts him out. That's fun at night. We'll hear that Siamese "talk" and then bonkbonkbonk. I have to go open DS's bedroom door just to stop the cat. Who then goes in and sleeps with his head on the pillow, under the covers with DS.

I just remembered another... because it happened this morning! The same cat who licks the plastic bags is really adamant about getting her food... We have three cat bowls; two of them have rubber feet on the bottom so they don't slide around. The third bowl is just a cheap plastic bowl. If I haven't filled up their bowls in a while, the orange tabby (who licks plastic to get my attention) will hop up onto the washer and chuck the plastic food bowl onto the floor. If we're watching television in the family room and hear a random 'clunk' come from the laundry room, we know that Butters wants her kibbles, lol!!

My male cat loves the smell of bleach. I have to lock him out of the bathrooms when I'm cleaning the toilets. I had to bleach the bathroom floor last week, walked in a little bit later and Stormageddon was rolling around on the floor, eyes crossed.
My female kitten will not let me out of her sight and would prefer to be touching me. If I stop moving, she is right under my feet. If I'm cooking, I have to get a chair for her to sit in so she won't jump on the counter or trip me. In fact, she is lying at my feet with one paw on my toes.

Two female cats. The inside cat, Gussie, will come if you are sitting down to be petted. So, when you are on the toilet, or putting on a pair of socks, she is THERE. She also licks the bathroom cabinet doors. I am afraid to clean them for fear she'd ingest something harmful!
The outside cat, Gracie, spends most of her day in the cat run. She is beautiful, and she knows it! She would prefer to petted and carried inside, but I am super allergic to her. She eats all her food and then, when inside for the night, surfs by her sister's food dish in case something is left over.
They growl and hiss at each other every night. They've been together their entire lives. They're about 10 years old, I think.
