I haven't gotten any new scrapbook papers in probably 3 years. I don't scrapbook anymore but I make lots and lots of mini books, altered items and hundreds of cards. Suffice it to say I have more paper than I will ever need. I got a new scrapping desk and so I decided I was going to purge my papers...again. I was pretty ruthless and when all was said and done I had about a 7' stack of papers to give away to friends. Lots of papers from companies like A2Z, Junkitz, KI Memories etc. I just couldn't let go of the last of my Chatterbox papers though. I'm not really all that in love with it anymore but somehow it represents scrap booking "back in the day" It was hugely loved...adored even! I see it and all kinds of fond memories come rushing back. I promised myself I am going to make some cards from it.

I am right there with you! I have gobs of Chatterbox papers that I just can't (more like won't) get rid of. That goes for the old lines of Basic Grey. I still have Junkitz and so many others. Ugh...I should purge too!

I still have a bunch of it I only use on special layouts. I don't know what I'll do when I use it all up.

I only have a few scraps left and definitely not from my favourite papers. I really loved the texture of their papers, I've never found anything else like it.

Did you really mean 7 FEET of paper? I have about 4 inches of chatterbox. I wonder if I'd make a profit selling it on ebay?

I still have an entire CH paper storage container full, even after purging. Every once in a while, I will just pull it out & do a layout with primarily Chatterbox. Even though it doesn't look like the newer pp's, i still love it & feel it has a timeless look.

I am glad I still have tons of Chatterbox. I think their papers are great for masculine designs. I still use it! Who cares if it is old, not like it is a beef roast that will spoil, or a loaf of bread that will get moldy, LOL! I have a lot of striped, plaids, checks, argyle, florals, paisley from them. And those designs never go out of style!

I forgot to hoard my Chatterbox papers and *gulp* used them up! I wish I had some left. They were some of the most versatile, beautiful paper out there.

Chatterbox was probably my favorite line of all time. I am so sad that it's not around anymore.

Chatterbox (followed closely by KI Memories in its heyday) remains my favorite manufacturer due to the classic patterned papers, versatile embellishments, & usable color palettes! Like you, I still have an inventory of Chatterbox papers/embellishments that I regularly mix with current supplies. Happy scrapping!

I remember when Chatterbox came out, I had to have every room!
I've let some of it go over the years, but there is still some I am hanging onto, I still like it.

I love Chatterbox and still have quite a bit of it. In fact I have an album in the works that uses primarily Chatterbox.
I still buy it whenever I see it.

I still have quite a bit of it myself and most of it is pretty timeless--at least in my opinion. The only thing I DON'T like about it, is how thin it is.

I loved it in its day, but now I am in love with heavier weight papers like Crate Paper and MME. I did love the designs.

I have lots of the Chatterbox, double sided, textured paper in the different "rooms" designs. as much as I have purged papers, I can't get rid of that paper either.

I loved my Chatterbox collection too! I have about an a half inch of the papers left. I remember buying all my favorite "rooms".
The best thing is I used most of it, great patterns and colors. I have purged some, but it is one paper brand I used a lot, so I never purged much of it.

Nearly all the Chatterbox I have is the rooms. Towards the end they started making cardstock weight papers, and I love the very few of those that I have.

I still have a few bits floating around. I have purged quite a lot of paper over the years but they are some of the ones that continue to stay they aren't statement papers but they are timeless.

Chatterbox was my all time favorite line of paper. I've hoarded it and still love using it as much as possible. I save and use even the tiny scraps. I really wish they had come out with a line of quilting fabrics in the room designs. Oh the quilts I would have made with those prints!
Did you say you purged 7 feet of paper?! I don't think I've ever had that much. I have to show DH your post. Then he won't think the 8 -10" of scrapbook paper I have on hand is all that much!

I still have about 10 Chatterbox sheets in my stash I loved that stuff then (not as much now) and I totally agree that it brings back memories. I have a few sheets from Wild Asparagus too

Oh going down Memory Lane......our store was a certified Chatterbox store that carried the entire line,,displays and all so I stocked up back then. I still have 5 Cropper Hoppers full and maybe another 2 with their cardstock matching colors. My absolute favorite. I still love and covet all my papers to this day. Timeless indeed. I took inspiration from one of their rooms to decorate a room in my house. I also love the weight of the paper, perfect for altered art since it's thin enough to manipulate.

I still have several "rooms" in my paper hoard. I am not sure that I ever used very much of it. It was paper that I was saving for "special" layouts that never materialized. I should really pull some of that out and use it now.
