There were Fiber One bars at work in the kitchen and I was super hungry this morning even though I ate breakfast. I love the taste of the chocolate chip one but I forgot how much they wreck me. I had one at 10:30 this morning and I am still suffering. Let's just say it has been a musical day. They should have a warning on these!!!

You really need to drink a lot of water when you eat one of those bars.

I love those! I eat a bowl of the cereal almost every day, so when I travel and won't have access to milk in the morning I throw a few of those in my bag to make up for the lack of fiber I know I'll encounter eating fast food for a few days running.
FWIW, there *is* a warning on the box! It says on the box I have here, "Gradually increase fiber to avoid gastrointestinal discomfort."

I bought these once for my daughter who was having some constipation problems. While I was picking her up from school, my son got home and found them on the counter. By the time we got home he had eaten 3.
I was afraid for his life. Waited hours. Nothing. Some how both my kids are immune to these things. They could eat them by the dozen and nary a fart (or anything else).
They are some sort of medical anomaly.

My friend at work used to keep them out to share because she knew no one would take more than one and if they did, they'd be punishing themselves. Lol.

I haven't had issues with them, but I understand your pain. Sugar free ice cream wreaks havoc on me!

I eat one pretty much every morning. Your body does get more used to them, but still occasionally have a bad day.

They don't have any effect on me. I don't like to eat them because they taste funny. I prefer All Bran bars.

Fiber One bars are on a very long list of processed foods I cannot eat because they add inulin (also known as chicory root) to it in order to bulk up the fiber. Inulin is a prebiotic so it acts in a different way than a probiotic. I could probably deal with the extra hot air, but inulin in all forms gives me horrible stomach cramps and pain. So that rules out Chobani yogurts, pretty much anything made by Fiber One except their original cereal, a bunch of Special K stuff, lots of protein type bars, Enlightened frozen dessert products. The list goes on and on. I have to read labels very carefully!

I haven't tried them but I can't eat Kashi in any form. It is horrible and it isn't the taste.
