I hit two more Michael's and did find the watercolor washi at one, but the words ones were sold out. My local store had the glitter tape, but they never had the washi to start with. It is very pretty. I'm going to keep looking. And I ended up getting some too because it was just so pretty! justjac and I talked about maybe stamping words ON the plain watercolor tape. Has anyone tried this?

I got the last one at my store tonight! I also grabbed one of the Boho tubes as well...I would feel guilty but I just gave a bunch of washi to my sister last week so I have room for 14 extra rolls.

Anyone that has seen this interested in getting me one, and mailing it to me??? Did anyone ever find you one? If not, send me a pm.

I thought the same at my store. I was told they'd be stocked on the 13th by corporate but warned that many stores were sticking them wherever they would fit. I went to my store on the 10th or 11th and walked the whole store...found nothing. Then I saw some clearance bins (the things $1.50 items are usually stocked in) and looked to see if I could find some teacher gifts only to find an ENTIRE 4 tiered thing FULL of the new washi, including the ones posted here. They had the marble one and the pastel one you are referring to and some stacks with like 10-12 tapes for $19.99 versus the $12.99 most of the others are going for. I bought a second of the marble one (I was able to buy the marble and pastel ones at another store the week before with the 50% off washi coupon) because the purple gold foil one in that set is AMAZING. I used it for the first spread in my 2015 album and it was the first time that just sticking washi down as an anchoring element didn't feel like it was missing something or wasn't impact enough. It worked so well with the colors I used throughout the spread and was a great place for me to use some puffy navy Heidi Swapp alphas I recently purchased at the warehouse sale in Utah. Purple is hard to find in the scrappy world (although it appears to be making a resurgence...I'm seeing more in scrapbooking, fashion and decor all the time) and even harder is the RIGHT purple. Some is more on the cool side and others lean closer to burgundy, that washi had a mixture of both and was able to pull them together so well. It's hard to bridge the gap in those shades, I think. So yep...totally fangirling over a single roll of washi. These recent Michael's releases are breathtaking...If forced into choosing between them and the rest of my washi, save for a few special favorites, I would. Thank goodness I don't have to choose, though. I've never broken into washi this quickly...it just usually gets added to the hoard.

I went the other day and found several other word designs! I did the buy one/get one, and bought 4 tubes...because, you know, I NEEDED more washi. NOT...BUT, I have used a few pieces in my niece's graduation album, and my DH's bday card today! So, that counts for something, right!!?!?!!? LOL

Ditto what scrapaddict702 said! If I didn't already have so much washi, I could totally buy out every single style that Michael's has, and only use that from now on. I went home and used mine right away. It is all so pretty!

www.scrapbook.com/myplace/index.php?mod=galleries&u=399295&m=view&id=3875959&type=-1For those of you that think you have too much washi… Here is an idea for storing and cutting the washi tape. The case is Everything Mary from Michaels in the scrapbook store section $8.99. It is made perfectly so you can fit close to 80 rolls in one container. I also glued two saw bladed on the plastic so I could cut the tape. It is easy to see and store. I am on my second box.
