Becky Higgins was posting a lot about it on Twitter tonight - sounds like it's almost time! I blogged about it HERE. From your iPhone, you can do 4x6 photo collages including journaling cards, use Siri to type your journaling and Becky's handwriting as a font, and can type right onto a PL card for printing. If you're on Twitter, check out [HASH]ProjectLifeApp to see all her posts about it. It's on her blog, too. I wonder if it'll be free or have a price tag? I think it's a great idea. Any other PL'ers looking forward to seeing what it can do?

Is it like a digital PL app? I was hoping to just use it to plan my pics so I know what size to print

She's been posting a lot of examples on Instagram. It looks cool, but then I'm a tech freak, lol! I have an Android, tho, so I'll have to wait.....

It looks interesting, but I wondered about the cost as well as the printing options.

Are there plans for an Android version?
I always get so frustrated that app writers insist on doing iPhone only, or iPhone first apps - android beats iphone on market share more and more every month.

Are there plans for an Android version? I always get so frustrated that app writers insist on doing iPhone only, or iPhone first apps - android beats iphone on market share more and more every month. /rantover I've always heard that it's just harder and more expensive to get apps approved for Android. It's not that companies/developers don't want to. Sorry, that must be frustrating! It's one reason I've stuck with an iPhone for years - because I'm impatient and wouldn't want to wait, LOL. Becky does address Android for her app on her blog: Q: Will it be available for Android?
A: Yes! We know many of you are Android users, and we love you all just the same! We absolutely want the Project Life App to be available to everyone, regardless of what device you use. The thing is … app development for Android takes much longer and it’s much more complicated. I wish it weren’t … but that’s just how it is. So Android users, hang in there. Your version of the Project Life App is coming … but it’ll probably be several months before it happens. If I could click my heels and make it happen faster, I would. But instead of holding off on the Apple version of our app, we decided to at least get that version out there, knowing that the Android version would be on the way a bit later. Thank you for understanding, and thank you for your patience. Most of all, thank you for still carrying on with the enthusiasm!

I might be interested in this app, looks neat so far. Especially the 4 pics on one 4 x 6 part.

I currently use PicFrame and can get multiple photos on a 4x6, and then I upload them to Shutterfly or Walgreen's for printing. But I am anxious to see (and use) this app, even if it's not a free app. I think it will be great!

I doubt that it would be free, I'm betting it will cost $1-5 and then you can download the different "cards" for $1-5 per set. That being said, I would totally buy it!

I'm interested to see more details, especially around pricing. I'm not interested in switching to Digital, but might still be useful for putting together cards to print and include in my physical album.

Hmm...very interesting. I hadn't heard about this yet. I check Becky's blog from time to time, but I don't follow her on Twitter or Instagram. I don't know that I'd want to use this all the time, but for a mini album, or scrapping on the road, I can totally see using it. That said, maybe I won't be so behind on PL if I can do it while at basketball and piano practice! Maybe this would push me to be more digital!

It might cost more to development, I'm not sure. But I know from experience in the Company I work for (we have mobile apps) that it's actually quite easy to it into the Google/Android Play Store. It's takes up to 30 days and strict approval to get it into the Apple store. And each update/rewrite has to go back through the entire process on Apple. So, it must be the development for it. Interesting. Thanks for the info!

Very interesting, although I'm not sure I actually want to do PL on my phone (don't have an iPad). But it's good to have an option for people who do

I think I'll love the app. It will be great to work on journaling cards while I'm in the grocery store check out line or waiting in a doctor's office.

I'm sure it won't be free, but it will have to be competitively priced or else it wouldn't make sense for them to offer it. I wonder if this will lead to partnerships with online printers and publishers? As excited as I am about being able to do PL virtually anywhere, printing everything at home would get a little cost prohibitive.

I think the hang up with Android versions us that are so many different Android operating systems or phones.
I think the beauty of this will be for designing pages while waiting for kids at practices, on vacation, etc. I doubt I would ever use it for my everyday PL pages, but I'd have to see the details.

I heard about the app when she first announced it awhile ago. I'm interested in seeing more about it. It sounds like something that will be very easy to use and very helpful to get the pictures and journaling done quickly.

I've already purchased a few of the digital PL collections on the PC. Not sure whether I wanna repurchase the same cards on the app. Not forgetting page protector formats too. Hope they keep their pricing low
