I agree on the 25 sheet packs of paper. It's too much unless it's a very basic color. Even then, it would last me a lifetime.
My TM had lots of different Bazzill colors in 12 x 12 and 8-1/2 x 11. There were some cute 8 x 8 variety packs of 25 sheets for $2.99. The one I got is black, red and turquoise. It has some prints, plain and polka dot textured paper.

I don't mind the 25 pieces of paper for $1.99 packs- at my LSS ONE sheet of paper can be $1.25! So I use however many I want of the paper, many of which are double-sided giving me more options, and then I pass along the rest to whoever wants them at crops or donate them. I still come out ahead of what I would have paid anywhere else for that paper.

I go every Wednesday after their shipment arrives. Took friends today who had never been. One friend spent over $100 on just paper. She's moving and is worried that there won't be stores in Georgia. What part of Georgia is your friend moving to--we have TM here--Just bought some things there yesterday

I went to the one closest to me only to find out they are closing and didn't get in any of the stuff in their ad! Boo! Another one on my side of town closed within the past year, it was located where the second new Hobby Lobby is going in a few months from now. Since I had a little time and didn't have DD along for a change, I went to a different one about 25 minutes away. I picked up four assortment packs of We R pocket page protectors that I'll use for storing photos, a few packs of Bazzill in 12x12 for scrapping or diecutting, a few packs of embossed Bazzill in letter size to use for making cards, a pack of 8x8 Swiss dot with diecut tabbed edges, a pad of 12x12 MME that will be perfect for a few tropical travel scrapbooks I'm behind on, a rolling date stamp and some tiny 7 Gypsies labels to use for December Daily layouts, a couple of Doodlebug cling stamp sets for card making and a couple packs of 12x12 patterned paper for scrapping or other projects. For the people who hesitate to get the paper packs because it's so much of one design, I'm with Lisa. One sheet of name brand single sided patterned paper around here is .89-.99, cardstock weight double sided paper is around $1.29 a sheet or even more if it has glitter, foil or thermography. So for less than the price of two sheets I can buy a whole pack. I'll use it for card making, cute envelopes, party invitations, favors or decorations or to decorate neighbor gifts for Christmas or for friend's birthday presents, that kind of thing.

I love to find the $1.99 packs. My friend makes kits and it makes them so much cheaper to create when the papers are at that price.

The only issue I have with the paper packs of 25 is it is 25 sheets of the SAME paper pattern. They do have some that are pads or page kits though for pretty cheap. I am checking out a 4th store tomorrow while running errands for my husband. The 25 packs will work well for me; I use them to make books for my son class and need to have the same page in large amounts. I hope they will have some in patterns I can use when I get there this evening.

I'm another one who doesn't mind that all the papers in a package are the same. As LisaDorothy said, 25 sheets for the price of 2 or 3 individual sheets means I can have plenty to use for other projects like cards or mini-albums.
Also, I scrap with friends, who will gladly take the extras if I want to get rid of them.
I bought a pack of papers that had a variety. I hated most of the papers inside. The one or two that I could see (and liked) were the only ones of those designs in the package. The others mixed in were mostly ones I wouldn't use even to make cards. I would rather buy a 25 pack of a design I really like than a variety pack where I want to pitch most of the papers in the trash.

FINE. I'll go. Stop nagging me. That's awesome! Love it! LOL! I stopped at TM yesterday afternoon. They had numerous and various colored Bazzill cardstock packs in 12 x 12 and 8-1/2 x 11. They also had embossed 8-1/2 x 11 paper pads that are perfect for card-making...and they were 99 cents a pack! The other packs of cardstock were $2.99 and $3.99/pack. Awesome deals for Bazzill, for sure! Our TM has lots of Heidi Swapp, Tim Holtz, 7 Gypsies, WRMK and other manufacturers' stuff. I wish they had it more organized, though, as it would be easier to find stuff. I love looking through it all, though, when I have the time.

I found about 15 papers I loved but no way would I pay $30 to get all 15 packs and have 24 sheets of each leftover. Now if I did books like you did this would be very cool. If you lived close I'd buy single sheets off you for even a quarter each...lol

Thank you! I'm back and got the Bazzill. 8.5x11, 25 sheet packs were $.99 each and 12x12 25-sheet packs were $3.99. They didn't have a ton of colors, but they had some nice muted pastels.

Since I create every layout on a cardstock base, I & use a lot of Bazzill! Unfortunately, most of the 25-sheet packs of cardstock our local TM stores received were pastels, floral embossed, glittered, etc. which I'll never use, especially in those quantities. Given the recent acquisition of Bazzill by WRMK, I was disappointed an overstock of basics - white, black, kraft, etc. - was not included...hopefully next time!

I haven't been to TM for a few weeks but I hope to stop by this week looking for Bazzill (and any other goodies that catch my eye). I'm lucky enough to have 2 stores within 10 minutes of my office. I was sad not to find any of the gold dot vellum packs from a little while ago...

Some friends and I go in together and each buy a different 25-piece pack. Then we split up all the papers and have a variety for our $1.99.

TM has become my local lss. Seriously. It's the only place to find anything new and the prices are awesome. Our Mike's and Joann's has had anything new in months. I think they've given up. Forget HL. They haven't had anything new in years. I always find something fun at TM.

Last time I went to the TM near me they didn't really have much in the way of paper, but they did have a lot of other things I liked. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some great paper selection this next trip(with the way this week is going, I hope I get there by Friday..lol)

I found 17 - 12 x 12 packs that I could not live without. I always go on Tuesdays after my physical therapy for knee replacement. Today I had to practice some restraint because hubby was with me so I only ended up with 7 - 12x12 solid cardstock in the following colors: Garnet (red), YellowGreen (more like a kelly green), Mardi Gras (purple), Twilight Dark (rich navy blue), Honeycomb (yellowish), Java (brown), and Cajun (brick red). These are the colors I use the most and I would have bought more...maybe I'll go back on Thursday when hubby has a doctor appointment.

I picked up 4 packages of Bazzill 12x12 in colors I like, so I know I'll use them all.
A while back I bought a 25 pack of ugly brown & cream striped paper for the cream back side. I've been using it to mat photos.
I also share with some friends when I buy the 25 packs.

I never walk out of a Tuesday Mornings without some kind of scrappy stuff. BUT the best find was 3-ring binders for 6.99 each. I bought all 3 they had. That is a steal!

Went today for the first time. Interesting store with a lot of fairly decent buys. Scrapping section was just OK, but I managed to spend $14 on a cute set of six small Momento tag stamps, two 12x12 Basic Grey letter sticker sheets, a tape runner, a 12 pack of 12x12 maroon swirly tie-dye looking cardstock, and three packs of WRMK 4x4 journaling cards. They had some Bazzill cardstock packs for $5.99 (I think) but no colors that I needed.
It's a bit far for me, about 30 miles, but there is a big Hobby Lobby next door. Didn't get much there, but looked a lot. It was fun to check out TM after reading the reviews, will go back again if I'm in the neighborhood. There is another TM, also about 30 miles in the other direction, may check it out next.

My TM has had a lot of Cosmo Cricket kits. Really cute. Most were $9.99 but some that had 6x6 pads in them were $14.99. I also bought a LYB page kit for $3.99.

Both of the T M in town have expanded their craft section. One was a full half aisle. I think it was like 4-5 sections long. Very happy. I ended up with 39 paper packs this week. Most of them were $1.99. Love that the Bazzill dot was so cheap.

I cannot go to Tuesday Morning without getting something. It's next to my supermarket, so I go at least weekly. It's become a very bad habit, but I have been picking up some really nice stuff. Last week, I picked up 2 packs of Studio Calico wood veneers and a 4-pack of American Crafts rolling date stamps that included three Dear Lizzy and one Amy Tangerine. I also snagged three different packs of Studio Calico flair.

I drive by mine every day, and there's another only 10 minutes away. $1, $3 at a time seems like so little, but daily it adds up pretty fast. I've recently gotten back into scrapbooking after a decade of only doing occasional CM crops. They have so many things that are new to me, and it's been fun putting together a new "stash". I might need a TM intervention at some point.

I was finally able to get there yesterday. Got one pack of paper (all one kind, but the colors will probably work w/a lot of my pages & the print was letters & numbers, so it will go w/just about anything), one 12x12 paper pad, 1 6x6 paper pad, 2 packs of Galaxy markers & 1 embossing folder pack. Not bad for about $25.
Of course, AFTER I had checked out did I see all the Bazzill solid packs & Ott Lites on the end cap. I was running late, so I couldn't get back on line, but I think I'll be heading back next week!
