Tomorrow (today actually) I am spending the morning and early afternoon at the San Diego Highland games. I will be parking myself in the beer garden and will drink beer. My 18 year old has been deemed designated driver and he is taking me and 5 friends up (including the parents of one of his homecoming dates in high school - awkward!!) after we get back I need to take dani to a sleepover and then go buy myself shorts and maybe water shoes. Also need to try to find socks for the kids since they disappear.
Sunday morning I am going to try to sneak out alone for a couple hours of paddle boarding. I want to work in a bike ride and picnic with the kids but we also need to finish packing. Somehow, in my spare time, I need to finish writing requirements for the software implementation we are about to start.
Why am I here??? I need to be packing. Oh yeah I can't decide between packing stuff in carry ons or checking one big bag....

School fair after lunch today, then baking with my youngest son whilst the eldest goes to a birthday party. Then several hours (at least!) to make myself presentable for a night on the town with a friend for her birthday ( woo hoo, haven't done a big girls night out in so long). Football (soccer) tournament at 9am on Sunday, then back hone to cook a Sunday roast and then probably collapsing in a heap on the sofa!

My dh and dd are leaving this morning to go to Cape Cod, meeting dh's brother and brother's wife and baby, and his mother, and maybe another sibling or two. Ds and I are staying here because we both have to work. I'm quite happy about it because we just got back from the beach for one thing, and second I have no desire to share a beach house with a bunch of relatives for a week. lol Dd loves kids though so she's looking forward to seeing the baby.
So for today I plan to do nothing much. I have a list of cleaning/organizing things to do so I might pick one of those. Maybe.
Tonight ds and I are watching a movie and ordering pizza from a place near us that's too expensive to order for four people. So we only get it when there are only two of us here. They have an excellent gluten free pizza.
Tomorrow I'm working from noon to about 5:00 or so.
I'm very excited to have dh gone for a week because I want to clear out the bedroom closet. It's so much easier to do that when he's not here because I can drag everything out at once but if I don't finish all in one day I can just leave it all on that side of the room and go to bed on my side. lol

We are building a deck and I am the chief gofer and board holder. I also plan on mowing the yard while DH is building. After all that, we'll be going out somewhere for supper.

I picked up my daughter from camp yesterday. So three weeks of laundry, and stuff to clean! We will probably go out for dinner and maybe to see Spam-alot tonight. Tomorrow morning she flies to Cayman to spend a month with her Dad! To little time in between!

We have family coming this weekend for a visit. My niece is bringing her little one - it is always nice to have a baby in the house. My son and his girlfriend are coming home too and we are going out to dinner at a new Italian restaurant we have been wanting to try.
Tomorrow I'm having a big brunch then we are all heading to a Phillies game.

This is the first weekend since December that we don't have any soccer or gymnastics obligations. I'm not even sure what to do with myself! Okay, that's a lie. I totally know what to do. I worked in the garden this morning, now I'm just hanging out with DH watching the Travel Channel and we are planning to have a relaxing day doing nothing of substance. We may go get a dog tie so the dog can hang out on the deck with us. Tomorrow we're delivering ds to camp.

I'm getting my 15 year old ready for camp. This is his 5th year going and this year he was selected for the counselor-in- training program. He's very excited and I am so proud of him. He's packing, I'm going out to buy last minute supplies, then it's a 3 hour drive on Sunday to get him there.

I am on vacation until July 8th. We were supposed to camp this weekend with the motorcycles, but the state is waterlogged and due for about 2 inches of rain where we would be camping. So we're going to my niece's ball game today and just hanging out. We have an anniversary party tomorrow and plans to head to a food truck fair.
Honestly, the stressed out introverted part of me wants to lay in bed eating bon bons and watch BB16 feeds and do nothing!

My youngest niece graduates today so we will see her later this afternoon and then there's a party (her grad party is in July) for her brother as he heads to Boot Camp for the National Guard in SC. Then he heads to Officer training school and then to Arizona for Intel training. So proud of both of them.
Tomorrow I need to get some stuff done around the house...Off from teaching until September.

I am not exactly sure. Last night I fixed dinner and my dh felt pretty sick about 90-120 mins after he ate his. The only difference was he had spinach and I didn't. He has a stomach of steel so we don't know if was the spinach or a small bug. I am not sure what he will be up to doing.
My ds16 (almost 17) returns today from a cruise to Alaska with his dad and his family. He has been gone a week. We have things we really need to do here but I think what we really need is a change of pace and to get out a bit. If my dh is up to it he will want to do something like that. I saw a piece of furniture recently that we have been keeping an eye out for a couple years and so we might need to move on it while we see one we love. We are slow to move on big purchases but last time I went they were down to only a few of them left. They are closed on Sundays so the only day we can look at it together is Saturday.
Tomorrow will be church, making cookies (the famous 2 peas ones!) and to a ladies event at a friends church. I go to a church that is very large. Our womens events are amazing and wow events but I am more of a smallish type church girl so I go to my churches ladies stuff when it interest me and go to my friends church ladies event whenever they have them.
Next week is packed. I don't want the weekend to end. Feeling the need to seize it while it is here!

Today the only commitment is my clarinet lesson which is near the mall... But think I will just go home and continue the great closet purge. Also may take photos and list items to sell on ebay and craigslist.

If DH will ever wake up, we're planning to take a walk on the nearby trails. Then he is helping a coworker move, and I'm taking the kids to a dog meet and greet sponsored by the adoption group where we got our sweet Zoey. The kids and I would love to add another dog to our family, so we are going to see if anyone might be a good fit! Then on Sunday, we want to check out the new "boardwalk" over our local downtown lake.

we are really doing next to nothing. My DH has been pretty sick for over a week. he's coughing non-stop right now, but I just brought him tea. he's been to the Dr, and also talked to him on the phone. I guess it's going to be a pretty quiet weekend.

We normally don't do much on the weekend but ours is packed, in a good way! One of my bffs is going away for the summer. She's leaving today and I didn't think I'd see her at ago before she left. Somehow our DDs thought we would be getting together on Thursday. I thought they would be way too busy getting ready to leave. But 2 of her kids spent the afternoon at our house. I took them home and got to spend some good quality time with bff. A few hours, so it was great!
Yesterday we had another family over for a bbq. we've been church friends for several years but this is the first time they were at our house. We had a great time! We laughed so much.
Today we have a graduation party and then we're going to the IL's for dinner and a bonfire.
tomorrow there is a huge bike race passing in front of our church. the road will be blocked off and the police will be letting cars pass when there is a break in bicyclists. It's going to be a traffic nightmare so it will be interesting to see how long it will take to make it to the parking lot.

I've already cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms. Taking the kids to the mall tomorrow to look for new shoes. Not much else going on since DH is out of town until Thursday. I may start working on my binder for our Disney vacation next year.
