I'll jump on the BG wagon too. Had everything they put out years ago, now nothing. Prima Flowers - had a flower somewhere on everything I did - now I'm going to gag if I see another flower! Busy backgrounds - now I love the clean look of using a white background!

Basic Grey is the same for me. I used to want everything they made. Now I don't even think to look at their new lines because it has been so long since I bought anything of theirs.

I loved Basic Grey. Then didn't love them for awhile. Now love them again. I used to love OA and now don't. Didn't like MME. Now love most of their stuff. Me too! I am the same way with Basic Grey. Loved them, then stopped liking it for a few years, and now I love some of the new lines lately.

Bo Bunny. I loved most of the old stuff but the new stuff not so much.

I used to never use stickers, now I love them. Not sticker sneezes, but a well placed sticker can add a lot of oomph!
I used to always used cardstock that matched my patterned paper, now I primarily stick to white although colored cardstock has been sneaking it's way back in a little.

I used to like doing only multi-photo layouts. I thought single photo pages were just wasting space. Now I like them.

Raising hand to no longer loving BG, loved every collection until about 2009. I use to love Bo Bunny, MME and Close to My Heart but haven't in a long long time. Lately I LOVE Simple Stories, HS, Websters and Theresa Collins. Would love to see brighter colors and especially more blues.

I used to dislike Webster's Pages - I thought they were too hard to use. Since Alison Kreft has been designing some lines for them, I love them.

Used to love BG, but not really any more... I'll buy a couple embellishments but the patterns/designs on anything larger is too much for me... I do love their smaller sized letter stickers though...
I used to love everything WRMK did too, but now it's more pick and choose...
I never used to like stickers, Thickers, or dimension - I wanted everything to be flat and hand done... On my older stuff everything was done with ink/markers, and now I hate that...lol

I didn't like Echo Park at first, maybe for their first couple of releases. Now I LOVE their stuff!

Agree on BG. I still have a lot of old lines, but tend to use them more as card backgrounds.
I find I ink edges with brighter colors now, as accent, versus the brown/distress look.
hmmm...I'm sure there's more changes I've made. I think the biggest one is probably I used to scrap any photo and all photos. Now I really pick & choose and would rather have one nice (edited) photo.

When Basic Grey first came out they were so different. I wanted it all! Then they came out with a few lines that I didn't love and I just kind of got over them. I also used to use chalk ink on everything. I stopped for a long time, but I just recently bought some Chestnut Roan. Maybe I was feeling nostalgic.

Too funny I just uncovered some old BG and love it. I haven't looked at their new lines in years and it sounds like I am not alone. It is too bad as I used to love their lines.
I also don't ink as much as I used to. I do it occasionally to make a piece stand out from the one below it if needed.

I did not care for Chatterbox initially, then bought a couple of the original pads (e.g. Den) on clearance & was hooked until the end. I still have an inventory that never fails when I need a versatile neutral.
During that same time, I did not initially gravitate toward KI Memories because of the overabundance of pink; it is my favorite color, but my primary scrap subject was our then-infant/toddler son. I eventually embraced the bright, white-based, primary/secondary color palettes & fun embellishments, did not shy away from incorporating pink here & there on my young boy pages, & still miss the creative KI heyday! Luckily, I stocked up on my favorites, have a decent inventory left, & often incorporate a patterned paper or embellishment on my pages.
I did not embrace the original vintage designs released by October Afternoon. I saw the next release in person & fell in love with the versatile, classic patterned patterns on the reverse, labels, mini market alphas, journaling cards/tidbits/doo-dads, etc. It's currently my favorite manufacturer!

Started out typing my journaling, then went through a long phase of hand journaling. Now I'm back to typing it.

i'm with many of you on the BG - just got tired of it i guess. i am liking brighter colors and not so much dark distressing. I have always loved MME, some of the new party stuff is meh. i have really been liking Graphic 45 lately.

huh-- interesting! I'll have to take a stroll down memory lane in my scrapbooks and look at them like that... it will be fun!
--I used to not like Crate Paper designs (I didn't like the 'distressed look'), but now I do.
--I used to not like DCWV stacks at all-- I had a sort of 'snobby scrapbooker's' mental block against using a matching paper pad bought at a big-box store, or the embossing / glittery textures on it, I guess-- but now I really like some of them.
-----------------------------------
I used to love using fancy fibers and mulberry paper, and now I think you'd have to force me to use mulberry paper on a SB page, lol!
I used to love the 'out there, huge patterned' Basic Grey patterns (even though I could never use them in my pages). Now, I look back at some of those papers I still have in my stash, and wonder what in the world I was thinking when I bought it. I like the smaller patterns they put out now. But then again, I'm primarily a B-side scrapper.

I couldn't get enough of Simple Stories when first released but recently realized I never (or very rarely) use any of the papers. Love the lines but just not my scrapping style lately.

When it comes to paper I really don't pay much attention to the company, I just buy the pattern/theme I happen to like at the time. Me too. My current favorite is the Ancestry.com line of paper, frames and mats. I've been doing heritage photos.

Loved most paper then; love most paper now. I am not a big fan of pinks, but since my son picked up a girlfriend, I have been able to use them a little more. She generally doesn't like pinks either.

I can think of a few. - If I ever used metallic items, they were always silver. Now I'm kind of sick of silver and use gold a lot more.
- I used to make cardstock the main focus of my layouts. Now I rarely use it except as an accent piece on a layout.
- I have a ton of buttons and ribbon . . . that I rarely use these days.

I loved Echo Park. Now that they often have a distressed look, I don't buy much any more.
I used ribbon on every page. Now it is much more rare.
I used to buy new materials every couple of months. Now I am purchasing every six months or so. I won't run out of supplies any time soon.
My Silhouette is replacing a lot of my purchases.

I used to buy all sorts of distressed-looking products, and now I'm all about bright, saturated colors with no no distressing and fading. I also tend to buy more classic patterns now, and keep the trendy products to a minimum.

I'm another one who buys paper based on what I like. I have no idea who makes what. I am in awe of those who can tell the manufacturer simply by looking at the paper.
But, I didn't used to use a lot of patterned paper at all and now it's on practically every one of my pages.
And I used to mat every single photo and now I'm just as likely not to - even when they're placed on patterned paper. Sacrilege!
