It says thousands of items for sale…..are they counting each veneer and flair separately? They can't have much left---they didn't have much to start! I am 2 hours northeast, but I already have plans for tomorrow……anyone going? Find out what the scoop is! |

I was also surprised at the number of items that were never discounted more than 30%. Most going-out-of business sales keep slashing prices as time goes on.

On another note, all these warehouse sales are killing me! I'd love to attend one, but alas there's never a sale near me!

I'm wondering if they have old stock. You know things they took off the website because it got old and didn't sell. They were so "now" it would have looked bad to keep a ton of old stuff hanging around...

I'm wondering if they have old stock. You know things they took off the website because it got old and didn't sell. They were so "now" it would have looked bad to keep a ton of old stuff hanging around... This could have been part of their demise. |

I thought their announcement seemed a bit strange. $16,000 worth of scrapbooking product doesn't seem like all that much to me. Heck, I think I probably have at least that much in scrap product in my craft room.
I can't help but wonder what do they mean by "even things from employees never sold on the site"? Are they selling the Garden Girls sample projects or something?

I got the email too. So strange that this is the first we've heard about it. You'd think they'd have advertised it sooner.

I also received the email this morning. If I had had a couple days notice I may have been able to plan ahead and take some time off for the sale. I, too, would love to see some pics if anyone made it over there!

That's what I told my mother when she forwarded me their "reminder" email about the garage sale (when really it was the first time they sent any notification about it out at all). I said, "Maybe if they sold things at a better discount they wouldn't have so much left." Part of me is sorry I live in California, if not just to be nosy and see what their prices are tomorrow. I'll be interested in hearing from any Peas who go. |
