I am loving cold salsa right now. However, I try not to eat a lot of chips.
Are there any healthy options for chips? Or, alternative ways to enjoy salsa?

It's great cooked with boneless skinless chicken breasts in the crockpot ... shred it with two forks and make a nice taco

Those little mini yellow and red peppers are good to cut in half to use to scoop some salsa on and eat.
ETA: on eggs also. If you're low carb make cheese chips.

I eat it with vegetables like dip, or on fish, shrimp or chicken, or on a salad, sort of as salad dressing but without the oil.

I don't know the answer, but I just ate at a new restaurant with THE BEST salsa and I swear I was using the chip like a spoon and just eating the salsa and double dipping (it's okay - I had my own little bowl)

I put salsa on my burger sometimes.
Triscuts and cheese and salsa used to be a meal for me.
Anything you'd put ketchup and/or tomatoes on can be just as good with salsa.

I usually use it in lieu of salad dressing or just eat it with a spoon.

I use salsa on pretty much everything. Scrambled eggs, in a taco salad in place of dressing, multi-grain tortilla chips, whatever.
This weekend I threw together a mango salsa (chopped up mango, onion, jalapeno, cilantro and lime juice). I had it over a piece of grilled salmon. Best lunch ever!

I second the baked potato idea. I put some black beans and salsa on a few (smaller white ones) and make that a meal. Completely satisfying.
Another idea is making a burrito bowl. Lettuce, some rice, salsa, black beans, avocado, and a little hot sauce! A easy favorite of mine also.

Chips and salsa is my "stranded on a dessert island" food, so I get it. In addition to some of the things mentioned, I also like to make "Cowboy Caviar" which is like salsa with beans, corn, and avocado. I can just eat that with a fork, no chips needed.
I don't follow a recipe, but, there are a bunch of them online.

I LOVE a good salsa but eat way too many chips. So I've cut crisp cucumbers into "chips" and use that. Not bad. Not as good as a good chip but helps to cut back a bit. It's that or "why don't you just drink the salsa" as someone suggested to me, knowing how much I love the stuff.

I get a cherry salsa from Door County, Wisconsin. I mix it in white rice. I have had it with chicken too. My DH just brought me home a jar today, can't wait to dip in!

Right? It's called Azul and it just opened in Frisco (or maybe Little Elm, the border is fuzzy to me). I've never raved about any salsa but I can't shut up about this one. It had a ton of cilantro in it so if you hate cilantro, it's not for you but if you love it, come for a visit and I'll go with. Seriously, I have to go in that direction later in the week so I'm going to call and get a container of it. I'm sure the chips were good but as far as I was concerned, they were just a salsa delivery method.

It's on the southeast corner of Eldorado and FM423, across the street from Walmart (on the Eldorado side) and Hobby Lobby (on the FM423 side). I don't see a website that indicates it's a chain.

papercrafteradvocate Julie W I have never thought of eating salsa with cottage cheese, but it sounds good. I go through some cottage cheese- I'll definitely try it! Thanks!

I buy it by the quart from my favorite place! I'm due for some soon. I haven't found a good alternative to a chip though. I may try celery, but I know I'll default to the chips. I should just drink the stuff. It'd be like juiced veggies, right?

I like it as a condiment on burgers and some sandwiches. Take a some ham, turkey and cheese, a few black olives and some lettuce. Put it in a tortilla and top with salsa and then roll it into a wrap. It is delicious! I especially like it because I am not a big fan of mayo or many mustards.
