I have a small Tupperware strainer that I love. It is just the right size for a pint of strawberries, or some steamed vegetables. It is really easy to clean, too. I would buy another one of those in a heartbeat. Erin Please tell me it's Ol' Yellow. My mom, my SIL, and I all have the same one. ![](http://i.imgur.com/bQ3fa3K.jpg) That's not the one I have, though. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Mine is white/clearish, no handle, shaped like a flat bowl and has a lid that's also open like a colander, so you can flip it over if you like. I freakin' LOVE that thing.

I must be the odd person as I have old Tupperware rectangular canisters for flour, sugar, rice, etc. and 5 or 6 cereal keepers that I adore. They keep my pantry nice and neat and stack beautifully. ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/W4b_Om5roEadLiOzGo_l.jpg) They are 20+ years old are look and smell like brand new.

I LOVE Tupperware and I actually don't mind going to Tupperware parties. I need to get a new colander because mine has a crack in it (it's not Old Yellow, mine is white/cream). I also use my Turbo Chef several times a week, but I think it's quite a bit more than $20. Otherwise a soup mug or pepper keeper.

The shaker bottle/cup is my favorite, followed by Old Yeller. I have two of each and use them all the time.

I get most of my Tupperware at garage or thrift stores.
I love those little mini things. I buy citrus and juice it and put it in those little containers in my freezer. Perfect for when I need 2 T. Of lemon juice.

Okay - you guys are the BEST! I'm going to get the shaker because I do make my own salad dressing and that will be better than my current spaghetti sauce jar. I might spring for those mini cups, too, as they are nice for a lot of things. I just don't like plastic, or I'd get the soup bowl. I have a great glass one, but the top stinks. Still, prefer that in glass.
Thank you!!!!

I love the measuring cup set. It includes a 2/3 cup. Great for many cookie recipes. No more measuring 1/3 of a cup of brown sugar twice!

I agree with lucyg - I love the square modular mates for flour, sugar, brown sugar, powdered sugar, bean, etc. No clumps, lumps or bugs. I am in the hot and humid south. They stack nicely. I've had a couple for over 25-35 years and they are still perfect. tenacious , I had that very strainer. It was perfect and it was yellow! I believe I didn't get custody of it back in the early 80's. I agree that the sorter toy would be a good gift if you just can't find something you like. Thanks for the link seasidemermaid!

And here I sit, can't find a Tupperware lady to save my life! I use their big Modular Mates to store flour, sugar, stuff like that. Keeps the damned bugs out. Every few years the lids start wearing out and I need to replace a few. Yeah, I know they're guaranteed, but I can't remember for two minutes not to toss out the wrecked ones. I don't use Tupperware for food I'm going to reheat, but I do have a number of pieces I've collected over the years that I like. tenacious , I bet I have that same small strainer ... love it for berries and grapes. Son's GF is supposedly finding me a Tupperware lady. Let's hope. I can always find something I like. You could order from the lady having the party. In fact, if any of us needed something we could order. We could make the party giver lady very happy!

I have a pretty strong distaste for most MLM companies, but for some reason I LOVE Tupperware and have way too much of it in my house. My most useful items are the eco water bottles (the medium one is a perfect size), the Fridgesmarts (these are expensive but in June they usually have a BOGO free special), and of course the modular mates. The Fridgesmarts are one of the best inventions ever. when they do the June special they usually have a HUUUGGE one you can buy for a discounted price and it's perfect for kale or lettuce that you buy in large bags. I love them! The pressure cooker is good, but expensive, and the microwave steamer is pretty great.

Yes!!!! That is it! My old college roommate moved out and left me that strainer years ago. She probably got it from her mom. Everytime I pull it out (daily) I feel a little guilty that she unknowingly bequeathed me such a treasure! :-D Erin I have that strainer as well but mine must be a little newer than that one, it's a pale mint green. I have had it forever. Their cheese slicer is really good, and the vegetable peeler as well. I have had those for years. I have that huge vegetable and dip container and it takes up a ton of space but I can't seem to let it go, even though I rarely use it.

Well, now I want the bigger one, too! Hmm...wonder if they still make it. Enablers! :-P
