Day Three Challenge - I picked Fire (before reading prompt), because I didn't think Ice was appropriate for Hawaii (knew I didn't have any snow pictures), just thought of tiki torches! Then I read the prompt and remembered we had purchased 4 photographs at a gallery to hang on our wall at home for our 10th anniversary that we spent on the Big Island, so I scanned them and picked up smaller versions last night to create this: Photographer: G. Brad Lewis: 1-Pele's Heartbeat, 2-Transition, 3-Ocean Dancing and 4-Midnight-Methane-Mist The volcano I paper pieced.

is it ok if day three is only hot or cold colours and not actually depicting either. I have two photos from Boxing day and the colours in the photos are burnt orange and warm wood but of course it is a cold day IYSWIM
I'm out this evening so not sure I'll get this done today it may have to wait till tomorrow evening now. But I'll see what time I get back in tonight.

here tis my Challenge 3 page I chose fire so I've used hot pps It's an 8x8 page to fit into my Christmas album for last year there is hidden journalling on the tag behind the photos as the page is a bit too small to show the journalling

Day 2 layout here - 8 pattern papers, 3 circles with a vellum circle on top and a big title. I recently got a Big Shot so my "new" thing was diecutting the cicle from pattern paper and vellum.

Day 4: Stash it up! Today we are going to dig in that stash. I am talking using that old but good stuff. You know the stuff we bought, used, loved, and stashed away for all the new shiny stuff. Time for it to come back out and play. Dig dig dig. You must include at least TWO of the following items on your creation. - Buttons (at least three)
- Fibers
- flat stickers (at least two)
- stripes
- polka dots
- eyelets
- brads
- borders
- handwritten journaling
- metal of some sort
- other (please state and it must not currently be "trendy")

My take on Day 4. I used : handwritten journaling, stripes (diagonal), 6 screw brads (I have not used brads in FOREVER!), 2 flat stickers, and other (the themed paper as I call it). I have a hard time using them.

scrapdolly - your Frozen page is gorgeous. I envy those who digi scrap, because they can make some amazing art. Landscaping page - what a beautiful photo to scrap. I forgot my glasses today so I cannot read your journaling - where is this place?
crystalb - (this site always autocorrects your name - LOL) cute page with the challenge, I need to break out the brads too.
marybuttons - WOW, what a photo. That is super trusting right there. The expression on the guy's face with the white shirt on the left, so funny. Nice page to add to the wedding book.
I tried scrapping last night, but my DH thought it would be more fun to pester me every time he walked past me. I worked on a page for a few minutes before work (which is why I forgot my glasses), so hopefully, tonight I will complete Challenge 4.

Awesome jobs ladies. Sorry I have been MIA today, I am battling a very bad not yet a migraine headache. I wanted to jump on real quick and post Challenge 5!
So if you are like me you start with cardstock as your base and add patterned paper on top, photos etc to make your page. Well today I want to see you use ONLY patterned paper, NO cardstock at all. NONE. Now if you are a patterned paper only girl you must ONLY use cardstock. Ha thought you were getting off easy huh? Let's see what you got ladies!
Remember to have those photos with a story to tell for Challenge 6/7. It is a color combo/journaling one. I don't want you to get stuck.

For Days No. 4 and No. 5: Left side of page is for Day No. 4: 1 Flat Sticker Stripes Borders - stitching Right side of page is for Day No. 5: Patterned Paper - generally, I use a mix of plain CS bases and PP bases on pages, dependent on what I am scrapbooking (I did use plain CS for matting the photo and cutting out the title).

Gorgeous page sbartist (bonnie). Love it! I am sure I will need sports pages soon.
Woke up this morning with just a dull ache. I am a glutton for punishment though, I am taking FOUR kids (two mine and two not) to a huge park in the area. Wish me luck. I will post the double challenge tonight for the weekend!

Awesome job Mary! Don't shoot me but is the "of" on there correctly? I put stuff upside down all the time just wondering. I think it LOOKS like you used lots of patterned paper but you didn't! See you can do this challenge! YOU GO!

Good catch crystalb and marybuttons glad you were able to correct 'of' without any issues. I usually find my mistakes after I have either scanned them 8x8 or taken a photo of a 12x12 and I am resizing it and it is right in my face! Like the other night on my son's 21st birthday page which I thought was done until I uploaded. I completely missed one part - it was a doh moment.
