Here's my lo for challenge 4. I have used brads (well, one brad), an old metal MM frame, polka dots on the brad and the chipboard tag that is inside the frame (which is an ancient WRMK one I cut down to fit) and just one ancient flat sticker.

Here's my layout for part of challenge 6/7. The colours didn't work at all for this page so I'll hopefully find another page to use the colour challenge on.

Here's my take on the colour challenge. I used various shades of pink with white from the second inspiration image for these random photos of official law enforcement buildings.

everyone is doing such an awesome job on the challenges. Sadly I have not even touched my scrap stuff. The unpacking and moving has consumed my time. But I am going to give it a try this week. But I am enjoying checking in and thinking about the challenges!

 This is my journaling challenge. I am having a hard time lately with feeling so worn out every day with motherhood. This is a letter I wrote to myself but also to my kids (in the future) of course. No one ever told me that it is ok to feel worn out, tired, and overwhelmed. I want to make sure they know it is NOT easy and it is OK to feel this way, because I did and hopefully I still did an OK job raising them. The pictures are of the first few weeks/moments with each. Top is DD and bottom is DS. |

Crystal that is such poignant journalling I love the fact that you have said what every mother thinks experiences, but it hasn't gone for ever the arms and the kiss come back when you have grandchildren and you can experience all over again the joy of having children, but this time you can give them back and have some me time as well

Thank you Mary. I have been struggling lately. My kiddos are still very young (just turned 2 and 6.5). Every day I feel all used up but I TRY to remind myself that sooner than I like they will be grown and not want me around as much. I try to soak it up but there are days that it is just too much. I am almost to the point where I am OK with admitting that. Here is what I came up with for hte GRID challenge. I know my parts |

I think I've done the grid page but I'll wait till tomorrow to take a photo and to see if I really like it. it seems a bit bitty to me rather lopsided or something not right but perhaps in the morning I will be able to sort it out.

Challenge 9: Monochromatic. Pick a color family and make a creation using only those colors. Bonus points if you do ONLY black/white/gray! Lets see what you got ladies!

that is an easy one for me Crystal I mostly scrap monochromatic anyway perhaps I try the BWG line as that is not one I do so much.

thank you for the feedback on my pointer page! It was really fun to make  I am going to try and do the grid challenge tonight! Crystal- all of your layouts are so cute! nice job on the punched circles, they look great! Chinagirl - love your pages but especially the blue with the journaling! It is nice and clean and I really like the washi tape touches! beautiful work Scrapdolly - your journaling is so honest and wonderful! I have been trying to add more feelings or events Im going through but its challenging for me. Be proud of yourself for getting through all of that! great page. Im a little behind but I wanted to say how much I loved your icy Frozen page as well!! Marybuttons- that Hulk page is awesome!! Im assuming thats your grandson?? How fun and what a great costume designer you are!  Thank you for typing out the journaling on your mom page, it is such a sweet page and sounds like you two had a lot of fun. I hope you scrapped before she passed and she was able to see your work. You scrap so lovely. Robkaynel - wow, your pages are so vibrant and the colors really work together! all of your pages are great sbartist: your weekend page rocks!!
