Given that I've been on this message board for over a decade, and that we cover just about every topic under the sun, it shouldn't surprise me that I think of Two Peas in the strangest places.
Recently, it was in the fitting room when I overheard what sounded like an older man helping his wife in the fitting room. (which I thought was sweet) Men and dressing rooms? Covered that!
Last night it was at while out for our anniversary dinner at Bonefish Grill--it was late because it was a long day for both of us. We got there around 9:30 and there was another couple with two small children, probably a preschooler and a toddler, who spent the entire time standing up in the booth and climbing over the back of the booth. Another well-covered Pea topic! LOL
When and where in your daily life do you think of things we've talked about on this board? Probably everywhere!

Most recently I thought of two peas when I was at the grocery store picking out ears of corn and a woman walked up and said "I wish there was a bin to peel the corn into I like to have it ready to cook when I get home" I wondered if she was a pea because we had just discussed bins to peel corn into the day before.

THIS MORNING, while cleaning my ears with a Qtip after my shower. I thought...this feels good...BUT I don't know who these women have had sex with...because I CERTAINLY wouldn't call it an eargasm!

I think of Two Peas when I go to Walmart, Michaels, shopping online, looking for shoes, shopping for cake at the grocery store, etc. It has been part of my life for 11 years now. I would be a Pea with Teeth!

I think about shopping carts all the time. If I feel I am too lazy to put one away, I think of the peas and go and put it away.

Whenever I use a trolley at the supermarket. Whenever I'm in a restaurant where there are children. Whenever I recline my seat on a plane (there, I admit it, I'm a recliner!) When I was looking at vegetables in Aldi today and saw a box of baby sweet corn.

Strangely, I found myself thinking of the Peas while I was eating my crumpets for breakfast this morning.
I have no idea why, because as far as I know we haven't discussed crumpets before!
ETA: I think I was thinking of the UK Peas who love a good crumpet, and wondering whether you can get crumpets in the US and Canada.

Well...we've been at the beach this week, so the notorious "waterpark attire thread" has been on my mind a lot.

Behold the mighty crumpet: Best served hot with lashing of butter. And perhaps honey or PNB or Vegemite.

Sometimes I think of the foot flushing peas when I go into a public bathroom.
I used to be a foot flushing pea. Now I am just too lazy. I grab some toilet paper and flush with that.

That looks like what we call an English Muffin.

In most public restrooms. Foot flushers, non-handwashers, cell phone talkers Anytime I see a child of the opposite gender in a public bathroom who is old enough to tie their own shoes. Anytime I hear a horrid kid's name (nearly every day....come on, folks. Panther? Really?) When toddlers go to restaurants without pictures on the menu When the next register opens up and the last damn person in the line waltzes their entitled ass into the new lane.....grrrrrr that one gets me every time

Well, I've never eaten a crumpet, but I know Oprah has her crumpets. Years upon years ago when we were flipping channels, DH and I heard her guest say how you shouldn't exercise on an empty stomach. Instead, you should eat just a little bit of something, to which Oprah replied "You mean like half a crumpet?" What? It's still a running gag in our house when we need just a little bit of something to eat. "Just give me half a crumpet."

A wayside in southern Indiana. It was a crappy looking building along I65 going south, they had a sign over the bathroom doors "Temporary Women's Room" "Temporary Men's Room" I'm thinking WTH? They made the men's room the woman's and vice versa. It smelled so bad in there. As we stood in line (because there were only 3 stalls) I'm thinking this is something I'd read on the Peas. Then all the stories go through your mind and I say out loud to my DD (who's holding her shirt over her nose too) "Are we on candid camera? What the [HASH]ll??" The ladies a head of me are laughing but I'm thinking this is weird. What possible reason would they have for switching the restrooms around.
(And Indiana - sorry but your interstates and waysides, suck! The whole state through it sucked. Said after going 2400 miles and through 5 states)

Yes our English muffins look the same as that. Crumpets are a lot softer, less like toasted bread when they're toasted. And more holes in them.
