First, the background: I have a lawn mower, but it is the old school kind-think no engine, push and the blades turn (like Leave it to Beaver style.) When it rains, you can't mow because the blades don't do a good job. When it rains, the grass grows more. When the grass gets too high, you can't mow because the blades do not go through the thick grass.
It's been raining a lot. I went on a quick vacation. The grass grew.
I am having to pay someone to mow my grass with a real mower.
Meanwhile, the teen boy who lives in my house and is the lawn servant is lounging around simultaneously watcing tv, his iphone and his ipad.

Because he doesn't mow the grass and I say I would if I didn't have to crank up a monster. We have about 5 ft of grass. And he can't seem to mow it. EVER. LOL He keeps telling me I'll hate it. But I feel your pain.

My FWP is my roots are showing so I need to go to the hairdresser. It's such a pain, though, because it takes about 3 hours for the color and cut and I'm feeling too lazy to even call to schedule. I usually make my next appointment when I go, but didn't last month because I wasn't sure of our summer plans.

But I feel your pain. You totally won't hate it! There are several reasons why we got it...partly because it completely reduces your carbon footprint...but also because it is really good exercise! And, it is actually better for your grass. It cuts on a different angle than a power mower, and the end result is that your grass looks so pretty. And they are cheap. You can buy one for around $100.

My standard poodle boy won't take his medicine. He manages to bite me while I am giving it to him. (Yes I can afford a dog, I can afford vet bills and I can have access to really good medicine for him).

My shellac is grown out, and I either need to muster up the energy to take it off myself, or go get a manicure.
I'm trying to pick a wedding venue and it's more stressful/time consuming than I thought. My life is so hard, having to tour beautiful places (often with wine tasting available).

Mine is that I want to catch up on previous seasons of my shows on Hulu and my internet is not strong enough to support it. They can't come out to do the upgrade until the 11th.

My first world problem is that a few months ago, my Microwave stopped working (I have had it since 1986 so no surprise that it eventually stopped). I haven't replaced it yet.
Then last night, I was warming up pizza and my toaster oven started sparking and almost caught fire and now its a goner.
I have to replace both my microwave and my toaster oven now.

I can't decide on a color for an accent wall in my home. So far I have purchased 14 sample jars of paint and don't like any of them!

We've finally decided to rent out the house, which we've had on the market for several years. With that comes a whole new set of worries, problems and issues to deal with. My head is spinning from all that work plus moving in a month. Not to mention, the other health issues which are kicking my butt.
Hopefully things will work out in the end. I need a sense of normalcy in my life again.

Rough first world week. Monday, something happened and I had no water when I got up to got to work. While investigating the water situation, left my $900+ glasses on the couch which the dog destroyed beyond repair. Now wearing old glasses (can't see very much without them) and have had a non-stop headache. Tuesday night the dogs were racing for a bone or toy and the older girl snipped at the young one and cut his ear. Next morning he went to the vet, anesthesia and stitches. Been cleaning blood of the floors, walls and cabinets for days. He is fine, but big hit to the bank account. Wednesday my laptop, Mac Air, is refusing to charge. Going in for service but it is older and may not be repairable. Thursday, was using the work camera, hit it on the door jam (please see Monday) and dropped it. Luckily it fell on carpet, but broke the flash, destroyed the mount and something is rattling inside. I have to replace it. Good news is when I initially ordered it I was frugal so it should not be too expensive to replace. Today is a new day and I will bravely but carefully go forth and probably sell some belongings to compensate for the mess that was this week. After reading about your week I decided my problem isn't worth posting. Hope today is a better day.

We bought a car last night and forgot to bring the title for the trade in vehicle with us. So someone (not me) has to go back to the dealership with it today.
And my AC makes my house too cold for me. So I turn it down during the day, but then don't remember to turn it back up in the evening for DH who likes it much cooler than me.

theboydbunch, what is chemo angels? sorry, way off topic. but I am curious. Thanks I copied this from the site: The Chemo Angels program offers support to those who find themselves in the most challenging situation of their lives – battling a cancer diagnosis and undergoing IV chemo treatment. Our volunteers support their “buddy” throughout their journey with cards, gifts, uplifting messages, supportive words and lots of positive energy. I am a survivor myself and was introduced to the program when I was a patient many years ago, and had my own angel. I have since been an angel for many patients, currently a 13 year old boy who has Langerhauns Cells Histiocytosis (LCH). Chemo Angels send gifts to their buddies at least once a week. I am also a card angel, and have a different buddy who I send cards to. I have done this for 13 years now and love it. I am fortunate that I am in contact with my current buddy's mom, through facebook. You don't always have contact with the buddies. I love seeing pictures of my buddy when he receives items I have sent. He is a real fighter and has chemo every other week for 5 day at a time. www.chemoangels.com

I hope no one minds if I add another...I decided to be semi-productive today and have been posting some items on our local Freecycing board...Apparently everything is on moderation and hasn't been approved for posting yet...therefore all the crap I wanted out of here today hasn't even been offered yet....

My FWP is that we leave for vacation next weekend. I have only one day off all week from my summer job and I have to go into school that day to take ED hours. I am trying to figure out when I can do my errands and finish up my packing without sacrificing sleep. Maybe I just need to stay off the computer.

Dh is great at administering meds without treats, but me, not so much. Good luck to you

I just found a black standard poodle pup for sale for a reasonable price. I want that pup so much but it is really not feasible to get a pup right when I go back to work. Cooper the wonder poodle will not be getting a little sister at theis time.

I am two weeks overdue on a pedicure and my toes look nasty. But it's 105 so there is no way I'm wearing close toed shoes...people are just going to have to deal with my chipped toenails until Sunday. Ditto!

They changed the IP address on the color printer at work and I had to wait three whole hours before the IT person came in to restore my connection.

I'm having a garage sale, and there's still a few items left. I don't want to bring anything back inside.
