Has anyone tried this product? I am in love with enamel dots but have been long been frustrated at the cost and variety.... This seems like a great solution - I can make different sizes and pick colors that I like. Just wondering how easy it is to use? Do they last? Thanks! www.scrapbook.com/videos/7881.html

I was wondering as well. Do they hold shape well? Can you make some heart shapes easily?

I ordered a few bottles but won't get them until next month when I go to the US. I really hope they can replace the expensive enamel dots. Anyone have experience with these?

I won a couple of bottles at a crop and just made a couple of trial dots. They didn't take too long to dry, about 30-40 minutes, with a smooth finish. Since I used paper I couldn't move them. I dragged a pin through the dots to make a tear/raindrop and a pair of dots together to make a heart...they all came out cute.
Tracy Banks/Mercy Tiara has a you tube video giving a demonstration that was really helpful. She went over the different finishes and had a bunch of colors.

This really reminds me of the Tulip brand t-shirt paints. I wonder if the t-shirt paint would work on paper for cards and such? Probably not that much less expensive but more readily available.

Love these! They are a great find! They hold their shape well and dry quickly. Don't worry about the little pointy-tip after you apply ... it will smooth down into a perfect dome shape. I love that they can be made any size from teeny-tiny to large.

Once I saw these on NicoleJone911 on youtube I wanted them. I've never bought enamel dots because I think they're too expensive. I just scrap old school with brads. One thing she did mention was that you can't put them too close together on your layout or they will run together and merge.

To anyone who has experience with these....in my mind I'm picturing making a bunch of them on something like wax paper, then adhering them to a layout later. Is that doable?

Yes...I haven't used them yet, but in most of the videos I've seen, the people demonstrating them have shown them being squeezed onto a non stick surface (like packaging, parchment paper, etc) and letting them dry. Then use a mini/mirco glue dot like you would adhere the DIY perler/pony bead dots. I want to try playing with toothpicks and seeing if I can make other shapes that don't look like crap...when I get them.

I have 15 or so of the non-glitter, non-metallic ones. The are freaking awesome. Swoop them up ladies. You won't regret it. $3 for a bottle as opposed to $5 for a pack of enamels dots you half use since there are sooooo many big ones.

That's such a great idea to create a tear/raindrop! Thanks for all the links/advice everyone! - I am going to take the plunge and order some! I once bought a pack of enamel dots because I was in love with the colors - but when they arrived I was so disappointed as they were huge.... This was I get to control the size!

I have 11 bottles. I just finished two travel albums that were 54 pages each. I have these drops on over half of the pages. They are awesome and dry in the shape you put them in.

My sister got me to pick her up a pack n our local craft store
They usually have nothing great, and I have to order everything online, I think they might be a British product and that's why they are easily accessible to me in Ireland, anyways after my sister tested them out I went back this week and bought several bottles. They seem brilliant

I've tried this in the past with dimensional paints and liquid pearls. I'm wondering if there's anyone who has tried both and found this new product to be better or is it more or less the same thing?

IMHO I think they hold their shape better and the glossy ones look just like enamel dots in a pkg, but you can make any size. My two cents

I love the idea of these but worry about falling into the stickles trap. I would want several different colors to go with whatever colors I'm using. Since I've recently purged many of my stickles I better not replace them with something else

Since I've recently purged many of my stickles I better not replace them with something else They really are not like Stickles. They turn out just like rounded enamel dots that are $$$. I have found that if I don't use them for a while I do have to unclog them. That I don't like.

craftykitten I think the ones that say Gloss are the ones that look the most like regular enamel dots.

I've tried this in the past with dimensional paints and liquid pearls. I'm wondering if there's anyone who has tried both and found this new product to be better or is it more or less the same thing? I saw a demo of the resulting drops and these are hard vs liquid pearls at least I thought that was the brand she tried and they were softer when dry. I'm bummed as the colors I want seem to be sold out. I just tried baking perlier beads and they sucked an hour wasted. I was hoping to use something I already had but they didn't work at all.
