Your post made me all teary as we're in the middle of this struggle. DS will be going into 8th grade next year and has MANY similarities to your ds. I'm SO happy for your ds (and you) for making it through!! HUGE, HUGE accomplishment!!

Whoo-hoo!!! Congratulations to your son and the ever important team of caring folks around him! I totally "get" your journey. My oldest son also has Asperger's and persevered in high school. He's now in college and while the road is still bumpy sometimes, it is so worth it! What are his future plans?
