I know there have been a significant delay in getting WRMK albums restocked but its been months and nothing. I use WMRK for my mini 4x4 albums and those are difficult to find now and so are the page protectors. Amazon was charging $10 for a pack of 10  I'm not a fan of the Becky Higgins albums or protectors because I'm finding that they are falling apart after only a couple months use. Does anyone have an update or heard anything on these albums and when we can start getting them again? Or where I'm able to find some instagram sized albums and page protectors? |

My Hobby Lobby has the 4x4 albums and protectors....have you checked there?

I bought 4x4 page protectors off of Amazon. They were $5 for a 20 pack. They are a bit thinner than the WRMK but they did the job for me!

I've been in touch with them via email and at CHA for my blog and they've always insisted that there are no production issues on their end for the WMRK albums or protectors. When I pointed out that places who used to carry tons of both (like Amazon and Joann.com) had very low stock, WRMK suggested it might be on the retailers end but it wasn't a WRMK issue.

I did find Project Life and American Crafts albums. Iwasn't saying HSN is offering albums...just that We R seems healthy enough to keep HSN offering lots of their other products. There are currently sixty three products in the we r brand category. |

Just spent 15 mins. trying to log in - had to create a new everything! I've failed "technology" again.
I had also been asking about the WRMK albums, esp. the 8.5x11 ones. One of the answers that I rec'd said that because WRMK was purchased by AC, who also does Becky Higgins' PL albums, there was a conflict about the albums. That BH said that the WRMK was a direct competition to her albums and AC had to choose one or the other I guess. WRMK were the best made and I just knew that AC would mess it up when they bought them. You might try Umbrella Craft albums - they seem pretty well made. Maria

P.S. I was searching for the 8.5x11 albums because a friend & I make retirement albums for fellow retirees and that size worked out so much better for copying pages. We used to get them mostly from JoAnn's & some from scrapbook.com, but like many of you, have had an awful time finding them. For the last book I made, I bought an Umbrella Crafts album & so far it seems to be well-made. However, the inside covers are white, not covered with the "leather" like the WRMK. Just wanted to explain a little further.... Maria

Oh, I doubt if it was Becky Higgins personally that was involved in the decision - probably her PL company's business people. I guess those "non-compete" clauses are pretty common. I'm just disappointed that AC would choose to not mfg. one of the best-made, best-selling albums ever. And WRMK had so many beautiful colors too. Maybe if enough of us ask about them, they will bring them back. I don't know much about business, but it seems like they would make LOTS of money from the WRMK albums. Maria

It seems like Amazon has gotten some of the 8.5 x 11 ones in as they had some in stock (and at reasonable prices) when I was looking the other day. (Some are still ridiculously high but not all). I also went to the WR site and I think that is where you can see the colors they still plan to manufacture. I am sad the Griege is gone |

I am closing my B&M store and am liquidating inventory. I have some of the 4x4 albums left in stock at 50% off at www.awdml.com and I'd be happy to special order the 4x4 page refills for you as well. Just PM me or email me from my site about the special order.  On the WeR vs. PL album deal... Becky Higgins made WeR change the packaging of their albums and pages because they said "albums made easy" on them. In her newly negotiated contract with AC, she had AC change the packaging of the albums and pages to remove that little tagline. I have been getting all sizes and colors of albums in for my customers for about the past 2 months now with no delay. I also have the regular WeR pages ordered in for customers all the time. They are the exact same quality as before, but they "albums made easy" tagline isn't on the packaging anymore. This winter, AC moved/combined warehouses and instead of it taking 6 weeks to complete the move, it took about 4 1/2 months. Which is why you couldn't get a WeR album or page refill anywhere. AC wasn't shipping them out, and the distributors ran out of them too by the end of January-beginning of February. |

If they want a product to say something specific, or NOT say something, they will not bring it in until the change is made...and they are VERY picky. |

Maria "Albums Made Easy" isn't just a phrase it was WRMK's line that competed with BH's PL. FWIW WRMK's line has been around longer than PL but it never took off like PL. |

I have always been worried that there would be issues getting WRMK after they were bought by American Crafts. I would love to swap all my albums over to WRMK but they are hard to get and so expensive in Australia but the page protectors are my staple, the quality is by far the best.

The one that I was supposed to get at Scrapbooking Warehouse never came. Instead I got a notice that they short shipped, and refunded my credit card. I actually bought my WRMK album from walmart.com |
