There is a coupon good for 60% off all papercrafting items good today and tomorrow, in store only. Papercrafting is already 30% off, so the coupon adds 43% off the sales prices to make the total markdown off of the regular price 60% off. They don't usually put the papercrafts section on sale this cheap except for black Friday. I had to special order a couple of things (most of the staff in my store SUCKED SO BAD today when I couldn't find the products that their website said they had and finally the store manager and the awesome front end lady...who wasn't working there due to injury...helped me special order them after being literally ignored at the front desk because I wouldn't take 'oh well' as an acceptable answer) but got a few things. I picked up a couple of brand new releases from the PL section (they have the Minc Charming cards that coordinates with the Charming kit that Hobby Lobby has exclusive selling rights to right now), some blending foams and a tool as well as the distress ink tin (those were $2.79 each, regularly $6.99). The core kit was $12 and the Minc cards were something like $2.39. I might have to go back for more things.
The things I had to special order was the new fiskars trimmer that's out and the Kelly Purkey ink cubes. The trimmer was $16 down from $40 and the ink cubes were $4 down from $10.
They haven't done all of their resets, but the things I picked up were well stocked (except for the special order items that they had in store but couldn't find) and I might go back for more. Can't beat the prices on the Tim Holtz products. I'm thinking that I might check out the other one to see if they have any of the big WP planners in stock...they were out of all but the pink and mustardy colored ones at my closer store.
Doesn't work on die cutting stuff, as usual.
What are you still sitting here reading this for? GO SHOP!!!

What happened to Martha Stewart scrapbook products in Joanns? I went into a large Joanns recently, and the MS stuff was totally gone. This is true for Michaels, too.

How do you get the coupon? ? I know it's available in the app. Not sure about on the website, but might be there too.

My Joanns stinks. They have a lot of die cutting stuff but I don't own a die cutter. Oh well I need more scrap stuff like I need a hole in the head!

Thanks! I am realizing (because I'm slow...) that the coupon isn't good for online duh. I'll pop in tomorrow and see what I can find! Looks like the KP ink isn't in stock in any store near me. What do y'all think of the tim holtz mini inks? What does distress ink mean anyways? I just want little pads so I can have more color choices at a lower price!

Distress ink is great for techniques and is water reactive (even after it is dried on a project, water will reactivate the ink). It is horrible for stamping.

I drove 40 minutes to the closest Joann's at lunch hoping to pick up some of the new Anna Griffin paper pads. The entire paper craft section was decimated. There were only two AG pads left on the end cap and not the ones I wanted.

The Joanne's near me still had a lot of stuff. I got jillibeAn soup stamps including birthday and another one with jars. Plus a planner stamp for work, stamp pads, a heart punch, a large tag punch. Blank cards, jillibeAn butterfly stamp, card stock and a set of black and white cardstock

You can use the coupon and pay no shipping to have it sent to the store.

Mine does too! The shelves are almost always half empty. Even when it's stocked their scrapbooking section is pathetic. There's a Michaels just down the street that is bright and modern and has tons of paper crafting supplies that is such a contrast to the crappy old Joann's with 3 dim aisles of stuff that doesn't even tempt me. They still don't have any PL stuff, although unlike Michaels they do still have a Martha Stewart section. I had a gift card to Joann's and I couldn't even find anything I wanted to buy - I ended up spending it on packing tape and chocolate!

Please post a review of the trimmer when you get a chance. I have been eyeing this trimmer for quite some time. I don't live anywhere near a J's, would have to order online, so no 60% off coupon for me. I also am curious to know the availability of blade refills for this trimmer. Thank you.

I drove 40 minutes to the closest Joann's at lunch hoping to pick up some of the new Anna Griffin paper pads. The entire paper craft section was decimated. That's my worry. It's two hours of driving to Joann's and back for me and I know from experience that the inventory system is completely unreliable. In the past I've made trips for items they supposedly have in stock only to find they don't really have them. Sure wish I had another reason to head into civilization today...

I had a great time there this morning. I got a Heidi Swapp glitter stack, Fiskar's heart punch (with all the little hearts), 2 PL albums- marked 4.97 for 2.83, Some cricut washi sheets .99 for my DD, and a paper holder for 2.83 (they had 2 more I will be going back for) and a paper stack for $5.70 also for DD. I also picked up 2 cricut cartridge holder for 3.97. The cricut stuff did not get the extra discount, but for 3.97 I couldn't pass it up as I didn't like my current storage. All in all I was very excited to get some things I needed on sale.

Thank you scrapaddict702!! I took the coupon and just got back from Jo's. I tried to behave but I got some really great deals. I'm most excited to try out the Fiskars trimmer. That was a STEAL. sbartist I can give you a review after I use it. (But just know I am very picky and have the worst luck with trimmers.)

I stopped by this morning, picked up some inks and stamps but not much else. I was surprised that they had replaced the washi tape section with another product. A few rolls of washi could be found in the clearance aisle.

Were people able to use the extra percent off on stamps and stamp pads? I'm in JoAnn's and was told that stamping is separate from papercrafting and the extra doesn't apply.
eta ~ Glad I didn't listen to the on break cashier! I went ahead and picked up a four pack of TH Mini Distress Inks and some more foam pads for the tool and they WERE included.

I bought from that area both today and yesterday and it worked. Returned the pl kit and got some essentials, including a circle punch in a size I didn't have already.

I swear paper trimmers hate me. I was so excited to try out the Fiskars trimmer. I can barely cut through my cardstock. I tried SU, Bazzill and patterned paper. I have to put on a lot of pressure in order to cut it. Which makes the cut wonky. I have an SU trimmer and a smaller fiskars that have no problem cutting these papers. I wonder if it's because it's not a titanium blade? I don't know. Very disappointed.

Jet.com had a good price for it, plus a 15% off coupon but I didn't pull the trigger and they raised the price...before the 15% off, it was already way better than most other places and now it's about the same price. Too steep for me for a trimmer.

Bummer! I went in today and spent a good bit of time browsing the aisles, but couldn't find a thing to use my coupon for! The PL sets that I've had my eye on weren't there, just newer ones that I don't like at all. No Thickers or good alpha stickers, no cute washi, nothing caught my eye. There was plenty of stuff in stock, but it seems like they hid the things I liked!

I drove 25 miles to go to a bigger Jo Ann's in Temecula CA. They actually had MS stuff. 30% but not included in the 60% deal. I picked up a pair of fringe scissors so I can make DIY heart embellies. They had some Webster's pages 12x12 that I have been wanting, Kelly Purkey mini ink sets. I bought two. Cool HS - bought another gold Heidi Shine; punches...$59 out the door. Not too bad. It was worth the drive.
