It FINALLY feels like summer vacation (we've been out of school for almost 2 weeks and this is the first full week where I haven't been super busy). The girls went to a movie with some friends today, I took ds out for lunch and spent some quality one on one time with him. Then dh got home early and we went for a walk.
Now everyone is together, hanging out but doing their own thing...I've been waiting for a night like this for about 8-9 months. LOL So I'm browsing Facebook, IG, and this place...oh and Pinterest.
What's everyone else up to? Any big plans for the weekend?!

Enjoy the evening  . I'm still trying to get dinner finished after my propane tank sputtered out. I'm very thankful the second tank was full, but I have a hungry group waiting for burgers. Both kids are working early tomorrow so it will be a quiet night here. |

Drinking a nice dry rose, watching a movie on Netflix, peaing on my laptop.  Finished walking my dogs through the sauna outside a little while ago. I'm pleased to report they did not pee on anyone's lawn! |

Drinking a nice dry rose, watching a movie on Netflix, peaing on my laptop. Finished walking my dogs through the sauna outside a little while ago. I'm pleased to report they did not pee on anyone's lawn! HAHAHA!! I'm glad to hear they didn't pee on anyone's lawn. Having a dog pee on our lawn would probably help it. LOL It's all brown and crispy from the hot weather and no rain. |

Doing some organizing, chatting to a friend, and I may make dinner soon. Tomorrow evening I will be helping a friend set up for a party and Sunday I plan on spending the day at my mom's house. Somewhere in there I really hope for a car wash!

Nothing. We just got back from a late dinner (and I blew the WW, unfortunately). Will probably watch a little tv and have a glass of wine. Maybe knit a little bit.

We have been lazy all evening. I've given myself a facial + mask, and now I am playing around on Pinterest and Facebook. Hubs is watching You Tube videos. Exciting night at our house.

Trying to get my lazy butt off the couch and make the cookies I promised my brother I would bring up when ivisit next week. This is the only true free night before I go so my plan is to make them and freeze them. That's the plan at least. Unfortunately my plantar fasciitis is acting up so standing in the kitchen baking all night doesn't sound like much fun. Now, snuggling on the couch with a fur girl or two .... That just might be the new plan. Cookies are bad for you anyway. |

We went out early for Mexican food. My husband really wanted some, but I have been ignoring him, so today we went.
It was really blah.
And.
I hate slop on a plate, and all the Mexican places around here serve their food the same way. Slop on a plate. Then cover it in cheese, because cheese is going to make it look better.
Yeap, not a good dinner.

TBH, I'd much rather have that than the opposite. When my MIL comes to visit, she feels the need to fill EVERY second of silence with something...even if it's just her reading out loud to us what she's posted on FB. At 5am when I haven't even had coffee? I'd MUCH rather sit in silence. LOL |

If it was something worth while, I wouldn't be opposed to conversation. But when my FIL died and we had her stay with us for a couple of weeks, she HAD to talk ALL the time. We thought maybe it was just because of FIL's passing...since then, we've noticed she's like that ALL the time. Dh and I *can* be talkers...but we don't feel the need to fill every second with words. She does and it drives me insane. LOL |

I painted my spare bedroom two coats of paint today and it wore me out. I just took a hot shower then poured myself a large aquarium sized glass of wine. Now I'm going to watch some Netflix and RELAX.

Waiting for my son to get done with work. I was able to read my book in my backyard tonight and it was the perfect temperature! I'm going to a missionary homecoming and Eagle Scout award thing on Sunday. I am NOT attending a high school reunion that is tonight and Saturday in the same town I live.  |
