Kinda like a vent thread, only where you can get your snarkiness out in the open in your 'safe space' LOL
So there's this photographer I'm friends with on fb, I've met her once, she's very good photographer. Well, she recently lost a bunch of weight by a lot of hard work, go her. She looks really good. But she's turned into one of those women that has to do a selfie every day and wear hot low cut outfits (even to weddings). Basically, she posts lots pics so everyone can tell her how hot she is.
Today they went fishing and she went in a tankini bathing suit (weird but whatever). So her swimsuit has a gathered up area across the top where her boobs sit if you know what I mean. Well, she posts a pic (full body of course, her trying to look hot) holding a fish. I'm totally giggling because one boob has fallen down out of the gathered up area and the other is still perched. It's like looking at a lazy eye. haha.
She hasn't caught it yet and I keep seeing it pop back up to the top of my feed. heheh.

It's my parents 50th wedding anniversary today and the anniversary of my sister's death on Monday. |

Good grief. Also annoyed with all the birthday threads. I looked at their recent posts and saw they are new so there's that. But still, can't you see you are flooding the front page with old threads of no interest to anyone anymore?
I have a lot of thoughts that would be right up this thread topic's alley but for some reason I am at a loss. I'll have to think about it and come back. Just trying to keep interesting treads bumped up...

We received our fourth visit in ten months from the Mormon missionaries today, even after we've asked them each time to note in their area information that we have happily left the church and DON'T want further contact. I'm about to contact the local leadership and the mission president, but then I'd probably just be written off as a miserable apostate. It's not the ex-Mormons who can't leave the church alone  . |

Tomorrow is my birthday. Tonight we went to dinner with my in-laws to celebrate. Very nice card. Then the present. Not sure how to feel about it. It was a pair of gold colored earrings and a wall hanging plaque thing. That they bought when we went to Ireland with them four years ago. Now the earrings.... In the fifteen years they have known me I have worn two different pairs of earrings and I never wear good, silver out platinum only in all other jewelry. The first were diamond studs dh bought me our first Christmas, the second are the upgrades he gave me for our tenth anniversary. The plaque, had an Irish saying on it and add much as I love Irish stuff is something I would never buy or hang. I even remember having a conversation with mil when they bought it about how it was nice, but that it wasn't something that I would hang in our home. We live in a very unusual home with very little flat wall space, so I have to be picky about what I hang on my walls.
So yay it wasn't a work out related gift, since that is normally what they get me, but it also isn't something I will use. And money isn't an issue, just in the last week fil has spent at least $10,000 on random crisp - a new large format printer, a new indoor workout bike, and some other random stuff.

I dont know if this is snark or just me bitching, but man. I have a good friend who is in her late 20's with two kids. She posts no less than 10 photos a day of her girls, and she is constantly blessed, cherishing this moment, etc. etc. Every. Single. Day. ALL DAY LONG.
Well now she bought her a Canon Rebel and is now advertising herself as a photographer. While her kids are cute - she is no photographer by any stretch. But now she has a watermark and logo so she is legit.
I just want to tell her, Sister: buying a camera does not make you a photographer anymore than me buying toilet paper and calling myself a plumber.

To the mom who was BAWLING to me about the fact that her "life was going to change sooooo much" because she is going to school over the summer and she didn't know how she would "ever recover" from not being with her girls over the summers anymore.
I wanted to say, "Bitch please find someone else to cry to about that fact and think about the fact that less than 4 months ago you were at my daughter's funeral."
But instead I just looked at her, nodded my head and said, "I really think all of you will be okay," and just kept smiling with I am sure and dazed look on my face!

I should add for mil's birthday we told her we put down a deposit on a Tesla model 3 for her and that we will be buying it for her. And for fil, dh took him to a warriors game and bought them really nice tickets.

Dear Kids-what the holy damn hell? Everyone was home today except me and the house is kicked in. I am about the lose my cool and go on strike! Everyone said they would pick it up if I got a job. Yah sure. Ugh. I need a drink!
