threw up on a stack of papers this morning that I was in the process of using. They were on the area rug behind my scrappy desk. UGH Some I can no longer get and a couple of them were new. I went back to the LSS that I just went to YESTERDAY and ordered a few others that I was lucky enough to find on SB.com. I also had a ziplock bag full of embellishments that was also hit, but I was able to salvage everything, than goodness. Thought I'd share 'cause I knew you could empathize with me.   |

Oh KikiPea, I do empathize with you.
Its a hassle for me to get through everything (choosing papers, embellishments), so I can imagine how disappointed (to say the least) you were having to start over.
And as much as we know a dog does not throw up on purpose, I guess I would be very mad. But I am glad you could find some of the papers you were planning to use.

My dog chews paper. I don't scrapbook anymore, but I do make cards. He can do a job on 6X6 paper too!

Oh, I'm so sorry for you. Luckily for me, our dog goes to the back door when she's going to throw up. Most of the time I see her there, so I let her outside. But, sometimes she does throw up on the rug. Thankfully, never in my scraproom. Sorry you weren't able to replace them all, though.

Bummer, hope the dog is OK. I would hate to have all my papers and etc, picked out for a project, then have to start over!!

He's fine now.  Only got sick once. I think he got overheated on our walk and drank too much cold water.  |

My cat vomited on a layout once. Jumped up on my desk to do it, too. (And my desk is usually a no-cat zone!).

I used to have a room with a door on it that I kept closed. Now, the room with the door is my scrap storage room and my actual scrap room is completely open (3 walls), so no way to keep him out. That was where he went and walked straight back to where I had a pile of papers on the floor for an album I have in progress. Most were in an opened ziplock bag, but the few I had just used were sort of stacked under the bag and got a direct hit. |

There has to be something going around. My dog had the whole house up at 4:30 AM because he was sick. Glad you were able to salvage some stuff and find the others.

LOL, but it's only funny because it turned out OK for ya! I can relate, with 4 dogs and 2 cats in our house something gets ruined about once a week around here it seems. My scrap room is a dining room, so there are no doors to close to keep everyone out. My cats love to chew the rubber ends of the 2 orange Fiskars paper trimmers my girls have every chance they get.
