If this all happened in a movie we'd all be saying that the plot was too far fetched and that this would never happen in real life! It is all becoming a bit 'House of Cards', isn't it?

From this side of the "pond", it's very interesting to watch how this all unfolds. Quite a distraction from our own political crap!

Up until this month I was watching the Trump mess with silent sympathy, from the edge of the slurry pit. Now I feel as if we've been tipped into the same manure pile with you. Or maybe it's a different heap of do-do, but it all smells the same.

Or maybe it's a different heap of do-do, but it all smells the same. It does indeed. I hope that all of us get our manure piles sorted out.

My biggest hope is that some people in the US take note of the 'regrexit' vote - those who voted leave in protest at the government, but really didn't believe it would actually happen.

I think Cameron was smart to step down and it's really telling none of the "Leave" proponents want to step in - I think it shows they know what a CF it's going to be. Anyway, my question is - what is the process for Cameron's successor and how long will it take? This is from the BBC - nominations closed today at midday UK time. Boris announced he was not standing shortly beforehand, at a press conference where people expected him to announce he was standing. I believe I read earlier in the week that Cameron wants the whole process over by September. Thanks!

I've not seen the news yet. Damn the man and his stirring! TBH there are none that appeal to me as leader. Can we not just turn the clock back? Wow I just woke up to that news. What nerve!

Can you imagine trying to explain all this to someone returning from a news free week's holiday?

As a teacher I say 'hell no' to Gove!! I despise that man and his arrogance.

So Gove threw Boris under a bus. Ms May is currently looking like the only grown up in the room.

Not Gove. Never Gove. Teacher here, don't let that man run our country, let what he did as education secretary be a lesson on that.
