I want to have dinner with shescrafty tonight! Since I ate my brother's Mexican food last night instead of cooking, my choices tonight are once again a cheeseburger, broccoli cheddar soup, or - oh yeah! - there's an untouched Costco chicken in there, too. You should come to the east coast for a visit-we also have Costco chickens in case you get homesick! Who needs Costco chicken when there's low country boil?!  |

I'm doing my usual for Sunday: I plan a nice meal, shop for the ingredients to make the nice meal, then have an attack of "I don't feel like cooking" and end up going with the easiest thing I can come up with. Ha, that sounds like me, except I usually skip the step where I actually buy the ingredients! |

We also had orzo salad with fresh veggies and feta, and other Greek dips (brought by our favorite Brits who told me they didn't want to follow the theme, lol). Dessert was fresh watermelon, meringue cookies, chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and strawberry pie and some sort of pound cake layered dish with strawberry cream. I has some brownie together with the whipped strawberry dessert-perfect end to the meal! There were lots of other groups there but looking over the food by other folks we decided that we won 3rd of July dinner! Lol |

It was a YOYO night....DH and I went out for a late breakfast this morning before heading out to our favorite bike trail for a couple hours of riding and once home, neither of us was super hungry so I had some leftover pasta and he had some leftover BBQ Pulled Pork.
I did however, get everything ready to put together my mother's holiday potato salad (boiled the potatoes and eggs) and baked a box of Ghirardelli Triple Chocolate Brownies for our guests tomorrow.
