I just did. I hated it. I will get the pics out of it and throw it on a garbage! Agh! Such a waste of money and time!

The first page I made after DD was born was pink. All pink, with no other colors. It was too much. LOL. I guess I was happy to have a girl to scrap for. I added some green and it made the page much better.
I would leave it and go back another day. You may be able to tweak something to save the page. But I'm not afraid to toss something I'm not happy with. I've learned a lot from the freedom to simply try new things. Some are dismal failures. And some are wonderful surprises.

I have done a few that I look at and cringe a little. I haven't redone any because I would rather move on to something new. Maybe in the future I will feel differently, but for now I just let it be.

I am in the process. Luckily I haven't adhered the embellishments or photos yet. I was hating it and let it sit for a few days. Went on vacation for 10 days and still don't care for it.

I should done that. Stop and wait. But my voracity didn't let me. Now I am paying the price. But before ripping it and trowing it away I will let it be for a few days, weeks, months... Thank girls. I feel awful.

My entire vacation scrapbook (of 3 vacations) is a hot mess. It's very bland and ugly and now I am going to be re-doing it all! I am excited about it though. I did a few pages too from my baby shower that I absolutely hate and will be re-doing those too. They make me so mad and I've been thinking about them for months now, so I definitely know I won't be happy keeping it as is.

I have had bad layouts in the past, but no more. Now I don't glue anything down until/unless I am happy with the layout. I can usually figure out if it needs revision or a complete start over. As long as nothing has been glued down, I can use the cut pieces on a different layout or for cards with less waste.

Sadly, yes! I have about 5 that I really don't like. Happens when I try something new and fail...I have never actually pulled apart a page.

DH will NOT let me trash some of my early work. He is all for rescrapping the pictures, just not getting rid of the originals. 2 words..Sticker Sneeze. 1998 Now, I don't glue down anything I don't love.

Oh yes. Not too long ago, either. I switched from 8.5 to 12x12 w/my 2004 pics and am currently finishing up 2003. I think I am just so anxious to be done w/2003 that I am rushing thru my layouts. I absolutely HATE the layout I did of my best friends, my sisters & all their husbands when they came to my 40th birthday dinner. Instead of making more than a 2 pg. layout, I just cropped & crammed these pics onto 2 pages. It was such a great nite & I had been looking forward t scrapping it for such a long time and now I'm just sad every time I look at that layout. And for what? So I would have only 5 pgs. commemorating that nite instead of 6?! Idiot.

All part of the process. I like most of the stuff that I make but every now and then one will just not work, like not at all, horrible stuff. I used to keep all these layouts in a separate album but as I have gotten older I just pull apart what I can and trash it, no point in keeping something I don't want to look at.

Like Scapnnana, I don't attach anything until I'm happy with how it looks. But if I did make a page I didn't like, I'd have no qualms at all about tossing it if it couldn't be made over.

Definitely - agree that it is all part of the process of learning! Only one have I trashed in the middle of it. A lot of times I can make it work as I keep working on it. If not, I can usually live with it. If it bothers you a lot, I would just get rid of it and chalk it up to learning / practice.

OMG....just last night! It was a sketch challenge that was due last night. I kept adding things to make it better. Then taking things away because it looked crazy. Then moved things around because it was missing something. Then it needed some texture and in my haze decided that would be sequins because disco ball is a good look for a layout. Came to my senses and took some off except, I used glossy accents to attach them and now there's little shiny spots. It's a hot mess!

Of course! I put it in the book and lived with it a while. It just kept nagging at me, so finally I pulled off the photos and trashed it.
Don't think of it as a waste of supplies. Think of it as the cost of a lesson!

Oh, yes! I have a few that are ridiculously awful from long ago. I thought they were terrible then and I still think the same, but haven't done anything with them.

Yes, I made one last night! It just wasn't right. I had glued most of it down - really well -- so there wasn't much fixing or rearranging to be done. I added some stuff and covered up some stuff, and it's OK. Not my most favourite page ever, but it's done.

I created a LO a few weeks ago that left me feeling eh about it. Finally worked on it this weekend and changed a few things to it. Still isn't the greatest but far better than before.
As much as I would like to go back and fix older LOs, I just can't. It shows how much I've grown as a scrapper over the years and you can tell when I found my style. Took awhile to get there but it's recognizable. I'll have to say my family doesn't even notice the paper and all the other stuff. They're too busy looking over the photos and laughing at the journaling. That's what keeps me going even when I have those days when I do an awful page.

I just created an awful mini album. in my defense, it was the time I tried making this type of album so it was trial and error. there weren't mistakes but the final product wasn't as clean as I normally prefer. now that I've done it, I can do a much better version the next time.

As many of the ladies here said I learn with it. But I totally relate with what you said. I glued it, and then there was no way to come around. Added things, take them off. But at the end, garbage!

If you've scrapped for any good amount of time you know it happens. If you are new to scrapping, you may just not know it yet that you hate a page. Or two. Or three.
