I'm getting pregnant today!!! *Post-transfer update on page2

After waiting 3 years for the all clear from my oncologist, then 41 weeks to get my embryo and my body ready (and a billion tests and procedures), we are finally having our embryo transfer today.

I take a valium in about 10 minutes, then down a liter of water and head out the door.  I check in at 2pm for my 2:30pm transfer.

Of course, my husband came down with something last night and is feeling really crappy.  Not sure if it is a sinus infection/cold combo or what.  He has really bad allergy issues and related sinus problems, but this seems like more.  Sudafed not helping too much, but he'll tough it out.  We plan to bring a medical mask for him to wear.  I really hope they still let him come in the room for the transfer!  They are really specific about no scents allowed (not even deodorant or lotion, so my hair looks just FABULOUS today without any product in it!), but a mask should keep his germs out of the room, I am thinking.

I bought some gold threaded fancy socks to wear just for today, and purchased my first baby outfit this morning.  So that someday, when I see her wearing it, I will remember the day I bought it and all the emotions I was feeling this day.
