saw someone mention Metropolitan Girl by Carta Bella in another thread and oh no, this is so perfectly me my bank account started crying. I LOVE and have collected vintage and vintage style clothing since high school. And this line is just so pretty and perfect for telling those stories. Yeah, I saw that too. Love it!! I have to say that his collections for Carta Bella have been a little hit or miss for me but I really like this one and the fall one.

I agree, this one and the fall one have been my top picks for his collections with CB so far. While I have liked bits and pieces of some of the others, these are just more my ideal style. I would have a hard time using any of the embellishments, but I love the B sides of these papers. For some reason, this shade of pink with the blues doesn't bother me. Probably because most of it is not overwhelmingly pink.

I have a photo of my mom in the early 60's and she's standing in front of a stove holding a frying pan in her first apartment. She's wearing the quintessential 60's dress with the belt around the waist. These would be perfect. |

Very retro. Reminds me a bit of some Cosmo Cricket collections. Not my style at all, very busy. I liked some Carta Bella collections in the past, not this one.

Thanks for posting this Imperia! I'm also an antique/vintage clothes collector since I was a teen. My DD. who is an actress. also collects vintage. She has an extensive hat collection and has worn both her hats and clothes on and off stage. This paper line is perfect for all the photos of my girls modeling our collections.

That line would be perfect for a bunch of black and white photos I have of my mom and her sisters when they were teenagers in the 1940's or from my parent's wedding in 1950.

Love the Autumn line as well. Great colours and patterns! I also love CB Christmas Delivery . Black is not a colour usually associated with Christmas, but I like it here as an accent and to mimic the sky on the long nights this part of the world in December. And the lumberjack plaid and that delivery truck are great accents! |
