DD just made these with her friends. What kind of a child am I raising?! 10/8/17 UPDATE: Deleted link to what appeared to be porn! Yikes! I think the recipe was from Allrecipes. Maybe they deleted it due the name. This recipe looks good if you want to make them from scratch. Otherwise, use premade cookie dough and a brownie mix. I recommend lining the entire pan with foil, as they are really difficult to get out without making a big mess. Slutty Brownies

I just printed the recipe. I'm going to make it for the 4th! That way hopefully everyone else will eat it and I'll get the crumbs.

You know what else you can do with these? Throw some peanut butter on the oreo before you put the brownie mix on top of it. And you thought they couldn't get better!

Just finished baking these. They are cooling now...omg they smell wonderful. I'm going to not only put the carmel on top but also I'm going to add chopped peanuts too.

Brownies came out bad. It appears that the cookie dough came to the top. I have 2 corners that appear to be done and the rest is pretty gooey. I got it out of the pan, but I don't think I'd serve it to anyone. It would have to be in a bowl and everyone use a fork or spoon. They didn't come out at all like the photo.
Any suggestions from those of you that have made these?
TIA-

Oh no! DD made them at a friend's house, so I don't have any suggestions. The picture on the recipe shows them nice and layered. I'll be watching for tips also, because I want to make these myself.

I was going to suggest lining the pan with foil, but it looks like you did. I wonder what went wrong. Maybe someone will let us know.

Next batch looks different! It will be out in a few minutes. More brownie on top, less cookie. My thought is that where the cookie has come to the top there was either less brownie or too much cookie!

Brownies take 2! The middle still didn't get done. My thought, although I'm not going to try these again right now....bake in a larger pan than 8x8. If you do this double the cookie dough as I don't think there would be enough to cover a larger pan. My dh tried them. They are gooey, but we both agreed to toss them. So, they are in the trash. I'm bummed, but am going to dip strawberries later today.

I would not throw that away- I would put it in the freezer and get it out for ice cream topping or milkshakes.

Here's my 3rd and last try. This one worked the best. I used a larger pan, doubled the chocolate chip dough so it would cover the bottom of the pan. I baked it for 40 minutes and it probably could of gone about 5 more. I was able to get it out of the pan, cut it and actually have a piece that was a piece and not mushed. Now, the middle didn't get totally done. I sent a text to my friend who is a Sous Chef at a resort. She said that it doesn't make any sense to have these ingredients being baked together. I also sent her the photo of what the brownies should look like. She thinks they baked each layer separately, then stacked them together using the carmel to help hold the stack.
