I liked it so much I bought some for myself and Christmas gifts! Great for people who have everything and need to have free hands for car keys, baby or phone. I can't wait to get it! I agree with the Blog not going back to the site... Good Luck You should go on Home Shopping Network... Thanks Teachersbrain. I see your order. I wish I knew how to get on the home shopping network. What about going on Shark Tank? Maybe you could get on QVC!

Thanks Crazy4Scraps, I would love to go on both of those shows I just don't know how I would go about that. Do you have any connections? I was offered a chance to audition for the Steve Harvey Show on Inventions and was told I wasn't able to be on because I work at Disney. Disney owns ABC.

That stinks! I Googled "how to get on Shark Tank" and the application packet is online. However, one of the qualifiers is that:

I keep thinking the thread title says "Need some advice on my intervention". 😄
@rmorgan I just looked at your site. This is not a product that would be useful to me. But I want to say I love the way you tell your story. You personally had a need and came up with a solution.
I loved this...
" I heard the voice of reason, reminding me that the chances of me winning the Lotto was 100,000,000-to-1. At that exact moment I realized that my idea had a much greater chance of making money than I had of winning the lottery. According to Inventionstatistics.com, only 1 out of 5000 inventions has a successful product launch. Those don’t seem like the greatest odds, but compared to winning the Powerball they are fantastic. That’s when I decided to sell my Harley Davidson motorcycle and put the money into the Grocery Belt. "
I hope you have much success.

Welcome. I checked out your site but didn't look at any video.
My concern, as a short person, is going up the stairs and through doorways. I currently load bags onto my arms so I can make just one trip from the car into the house. I occasionally whack things into the stairs or doorways or my legs.
Getting on and off of a bike seems like it could be difficult. My kids get a ride to school only a few blocks away because of heavy backpacks. The weight of the backpack made my oldest go right over the other side of the bike and hit the ground as they were mounting the bike.
I can picture it being used by people living in apartments.
How about making some small, zippered, reusable bags. You could put weights into them for exercise. I think you could sell the weights as well. The more applications you have for the belt the better.
I wish you the best of luck. Please let us know how things go with your first shipment.

I have nothing more to offer, but do want to say how great it is that you have invented and marketed a useful item. I hope you are able to find a full range of sales possibilities, Amazon is my shopping place. Any time I want something I check to see if I can get it through Amazon. I also often click on the things offered on Facebook and have made purchases for things I never would have seen or thought of otherwise.

I looked at it and it's not something I need now (why have a teenaged son if it's not to mow the yard and lug heavy shit for you?) but when I was single and living in an apartment, I would have been ALL over this grocery belt. I lived in Louisiana and hated making multiple trips to the parking lot of my apartment complex to haul groceries upstairs to my apartment when it was 97 degrees and 98% humidity. You could do well marketing to college students, apartment dwellers, and urban residents. It's a nifty gadget; I wish you the best with your product. Hi Compwalla, I live in Florida and I know exactly what you are talking about. Hot Hot Hot. Great info on a target market. Thanks for the well wishes. I missed this yesterday, so I'm one of your new numbers for today. Welcome! I hope you stick around. I am a possible target audience. Like others, I use reusable bags - they hold so much more than those little plastic bags in your photos. I actually do put all my cans in one bag since I find grouping like things together makes packing and unpacking the bags so much easier. I realize I'm an anomaly that way, but nonetheless, my bags hold MUCH more than your bags. I can't get a good feel for what it would be like to carry these using your belt from your examples of smaller, plastic bags. I'm pretty darn sure I'd be scratching my arms on those hooks a lot. I'm very talented that way. Has this been a problem for others? I can't really tell from the photos how close the hook positions are to where a person's arms naturally fall. I'm also very curious how you would load your belt. I think a video of someone putting on the belt and then loading all the bags would be most helpful. What I wouldn't have given for one of your belts when I was in college, walking a mile and carrying heavy groceries in those horrible plastic bags that hurt my hands something fierce!

Did anyone have any comments on the video? I was worried that the Before and After Video may seem too sexist. Should I just post a link in a separate post asking if its too sexist when my target market is women? Or just the fact that I have to ask that, would that answer my own question? I didn't even know you had videos on your site until I read this. Then I had to search for them. I suggest embedding them on the page you linked us to is. * I was in a 2nd floor apartment after evacuating a hurricane in SE Texas and I liked your personal note in describing your product.

Thanks for your feedback Lefturnonly. I need to find out how to put a video on the front. I used a template for the site so not sure if I can add a video with the template. So you displaced by a hurricane too. Which one? Some times good things come out of bad.

I'm not sure where you are from, but right now in my area there are all kinds of craft and vendor shows. Would you be able to set up a booth, and hire a few friends to wear the belt so you can get out there and show people exactly what it is and what it does? Word of mouth is usually the best advertising, and if you can get out in front of people it would really help.
I've seen at craft shows where people will have a t-shirt advertising your product, and be walking around in the general area. If the shirts are bright vibrant colors, they really stand out and people notice them. You could have a few people wearing the belt with bags from the craft or vendor fair walking around in brightly colored t-shirts with your name and logo on it. Get people to notice how easy it is to use, and they'll come looking for you.
Good luck!!

As soon as my first shipment comes in I will try that. Thank you for the advise.
