Thanks for the link. Amazing that she can get ten different cards from the kit and I like that she shows what she has left over. I passed on the kit though. I'm going to check her videos for other monthly kits that I purchased.

Vicky is the best. I've been following her on You Tube for a while. I don't art journal, but love to watch her process videos.
Her 10 cards from the SSS kits go back to December. Great ideas even if you're using your stash.

I just "knew" who you were talking about before I clicked the link! I found her videos by accident last week and I've been hooked ever since. She does great work - I love watching her whether it's cards, ATCs, art journals, or whatever.  |

I was on vacation with no cell service or wifi. First thing I did when I got home was pull up her channel. I knew her newest 10 card video would be up. Every month I kick myself for not buying the kit after I see her video.

SSS needs to hire her. Seriously. On kit reveal day I saw the kit and I was like blech. Not my style or color faves. Too much like July 4th. I knew she did 10 cards from a kit videos which I've watched in passing. This weekend I was curious to see what she did with what I considered a yucky kit. By card 3 I was sold. I went to SSS and I was so glad they weren't sold out yet. Amazing. Tim Holtz needs to hire her too, lol. I grabbed some of his stuff also.

This is the third month I have subscribed to the SSS card kit. I copied cards from her gallery postings previously, but didn't think to look for videos. Thanks for sharing! I also love the work that Suzy Plantamura does with the kits. This is my first kit ever, and so far it's always been packed with fun.

Wow, she makes GREAT videos! I'm ready to buy ALL THE THINGS! (thanks guys... you're such a bad influence on me!) I watched a video she did with the one kit I had bought from them a while back and it made me wish I had another one so I could copy some of her ideas. There's an old Xmas one using PinkFresh Studio papers that's just lovely. The kit isn't available any more but she had links to the paper and stickers which are. Lots of lovely ideas, and such nicely made videos. She's my new lunchtime companion. Thanks for the tip  |

I just spent a bunch of money at SSS and amazon buying things I'd seen on Vicki's videos. Apparently I'm getting back into heat embossing many years after giving away all of my supplies. (That's OK. I'm getting better quality products this time anyway, and I don't regret passing the old stuff along when I did). I even bought a paper pad that I hadn't liked at all when I'd seen it before. But after seeing her use it and loving at least half of the paper I changed my mind. Someone else can use the overly religious pages in the pad - I'm sure they won't last 5 minutes on the "free table" at work. But the rainbow paper is ALL MINE!

I did the same exact thing (buying from SSS then Amazon). Embossing ***sigh**. My favorite technique ever. I ordered the gold glitter powder and can't wait to play. And I never knew resist paper worked so well with distress ink. I ordered those too. Bottom line: Vicki is going to bankrupt me. Eta: I ordered the blue zing powder too. |
