Uh...isn't this the same walkway that cracked a few months ago? Reminds me too much of this...

In the United States, yes. China, no. I worry about the construction.

If it weren't that it was built by the Chinese (another that has concerns over their building practices) I would do it in a second. DH refused to look at the pictures or listen to me belly ache that it was all the way over in China. LOL. J I turned 18 the day the skywalks at the Hyatt in Kansas City collapsed. They were made by Americans who decided to cut corners. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyatt_Regency_walkway_collapseI don't trust anyone. Mountains move every single day. No way not happening.

I came back just to look at the pictures again I really wish we had something like this near me. It's disappointing to hear of building construction concerns. Not that I would have ever made the trip, but now even in my lottery winning dreams it won't be as fun!

Wow, I didn't know this story, though I was 16 at the time. I'm sure there are shoddy construction practices every where, but in my construction background, the Chinese were just so bad. Sorry, just that way. Ooh, good point on the moving of mountains. J

No way in hell. I won't even stand on a stepladder, so that's out of the question.

I would definitely do it! If you read the article, they cracked it on purpose and drove a car over it. On Friday, my son and are going to do this ride, the Terror Dactyl. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-P_-vI2ofLMAnd the next Friday he wants to do this ride. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4yUNsVxLxAWhen he was a little kid, he was really big for his age and I started him on all sorts of scary stuff so he thinks it is all fun and games. We tend to see something scary and neither one of us will back down.
