Ali had a small sneak today with preorder starting on the 1st. I am excited for the kits but I have enough stuff in my stash to make one with if I don't like the kits.

I have never done DD and really never plan to. I don't have time to pick my nose each day as it is, lol. BUT...it doesn't mean I won't buy a kit that I can use for Christmas in general.

TBD. I've purchased Ali's kit the last few years, but I have loads of Christmas supplies already and there are some really cute new lines coming. I'll wait for her reveal then decide.

I am excited to see what Ali has to offer on DD this year. I've bought her kits for the past 3 years and were successful in completing the project. That being said, I've acquired enough christmas themed items from the OA warehouse sale. So if I don't see anything I "MUST HAVE" in Ali's kits, I am going to use my own stash. Who do you guys think the guest designers will be? I know this is probably a stretch, but I really want Tina Aszmus to design a kit! I love everything she doesssss!!!

I'll probably get Ali's kit. I have never completed a book (maybe this will be my year!), but I do have partials and I think I only got that far because it was a kit.

I'll buy at least Ali's main kit, if she has multiple options like she did last year. I purchased Ali's kits in 2013 and 2015. I still haven't touched 2013 but I really loved doing 2015. I've convinced my best scrapping buddies to join me and we all go to a retreat together in January, so I am anticipating a TON of fun doing it this year.

I personally hope to see Marie Lottermoser- she has the most beautiful December Daily albums, but she is on the Citrus Twist team now.

I've preordered illustrated faith Christmas kit. It's beautiful! I think the DD kits, through Ali or elsewhere are way more than I want to spend. I know you get a lot in the kits but I just stomach a $100 price tag.

I will definitely do December Daily. I will probably buy Ali's kit unless SC pisses me off before then. I have no Christmas stash, so if I dont buy Ali's I will be a kit from someone.

Buying Ali's kits are the only way I seem to be able to finish my albums each year. When I tried to use my stash, I just didn't seem to have motivation. When I use Ali's kits, I love being able to follow along with her.
I will definitely buy Ali's main kit. And we'll see which of the mini kits I get this year. Last year I bough 2 of the mini kits.
I am also curious to see what kind of stamps will come out this year. Not that I need more, but I always love Ali's Christmas stamps.

I'll probably do an album as I really enjoyed it last year and have a red handbook waiting In terms of supplies, I have a lot of Pinkfresh Christmas Wishes and some Elle's Studio left from last year so I'll be using that up.

I have sooo much Christmas stuff! I'll wait for the reveal of the kit/minis to see. I'm going to try to resist, but that is hard for me when it comes to Christmas.

Last year was my first year doing December Daily, or any pocketed scrapping TBH. I bought Ali's main kit and Kelly Purkey's mini, along with some stamps. I amazed myself and actually finished the project (spurred on by my DH telling me I could do it!) I really love how it is a complete little portrait of a month in our lives, so I am sure I will do it again. I will have to see what Ali has on offer this time. i have lots of OA stash I could use, plus leftovers from last year, but I would need an album and page protectors. I know myself and I am sure I will cave and buy some kit at some point.

The only thing I'd really love is a nice 6x8 album. I haven't been doing PL for 2016, so I need a standalone album for DD and missed out on Jasmine's Merry album twice.

DD is one of my favorite projects each year! I have done a DD album for 5 years now but i have never purchased a kit since Christmas paper and embellishments are my weakness and i have so much...

I have attempted a couple of December Dailies, but never finished either one: did the pages, did not follow up with the photos.
In my life, there are lots of days when nothing happens. Then everything happens at once. I always do seasonal albums, and if I have a lot of Christmas photos I will separate them out of the Winter album and keep them in a Christmas one. I usually do that scrapping early in January, as soon as I get the photos printed, before the memories fade or I put away my Christmas stash. I don't plan it to be any more coordinated than any of my other albums, just a 2 page spread for each story I want to tell.

Every year I say I'm going to go super simple and every year I end up making it too complicated. I would really really really love to try and stick with one photo a day. I am doing a 6x8 album and I may do a mix of 3 styles of pages:
1) an oversized 6x8 2) four pockets of 3x4 and if I have a lot of stuff going on, I would put those two together for one day (6x8 + 3x4 4 up) 3) some small page out of the pocket page and it would be front and back for that day. Probably a square so 4x4 or 5x5?
I feel like if I went in a row like that and kept it to a recipe, I could get it done. I don't like to pre-plan the album but I do gather my supplies and pick out a kit so I don't go crazy on using my whole stash. I have a RIDICULOUS amount of Christmas product. It lives in its own box and the box is huge. Gotta purge before I start this year.
Overall I enjoy my DD more than anything else I ever make but I'm not quite ready to think about it yet. Maybe late September.

I never finish them and I always say I will Not order a kit and I always do. This year I am hoping to fix both of these problems.

In my life, there are lots of days when nothing happens. Then everything happens at once. Me too. I usually do that scrapping early in January, as soon as I get the photos printed, before the memories fade I do this too. I'm definitely doing my version of DD again this year (will be third year doing it). I do a holiday season 8x8 album. From Thanksgiving to New Year's Day. This way, I don't have to do everyday and have that pressure on me. I make my own kit from stash and stuff I buy that year. I often shop the after Christmas sales. I make a color-based kit. I haven't chosen what colors I want this year. The first year I did silver, turquoise, navy, and aqua. Last year I did traditional red & green, plus pink and gold. My kit goes in a box, and throughout the season I toss in anything I want to possibly include in my album. My albums usually includes: Thanksgiving night Christmas wishlist Making cookies Tree decorating Christmas eve Christmas morning New Year's Eve New Year's Day. If I have pages to fill, I'll throw in "My favorite holiday treat this year was..." Or last year I did a page about my favorite Christmas song to hear on the radio. I jot notes down on the calendar all season long so that I have something to go back and look at when I'm assembling my album. Which is in January, when I have all my photos printed. I also make a separate album in Snapfish titled DD2016 (or whatever year it is) and put all the photos I know I want in that album directly in there. Then I have them all printed together, so I have all the pics I need in one envelope.

I resisted all kits last year and hope to do the same this year. Stamps? Well, that's a whole different thing.
Last year since I don't do much for the holidays (no baking, tree decorating, no parties, etc.), I decided to do week in the life for the week of Christmas. I was going to include the few holiday things I did earlier in the month in the week spread along with Christmas day with my very small family. On Tuesday I got sick and spent the rest of the week in bed. Needless to say, my plans for any scrapbooking went by the wayside. That's not a week I care to remember!
So this year I may attempt another WITL with existing supplies. Hope I'm not tempting fate!

I always do DD and because I work at a school I have a nice Christmas break when I finish my DD. I don't stress about completing a page a day I just make sure I snap a photo or 2 then after Boxing day I tend to go back and complete my album.
This year I have practically no Christmas stash (except for snippets of papers and a few embellishments) I usually buy one collection and use that with an album I have on hand to complete my DD. This year I might just order Ali's kit. We'll see. I haven't found a Christmas collection that wowed me yet with all these previews (although seeing them in person is a whole other ballgame) Not sure if I'll grab an album...need to check through my stash to see if I have one that will work first.

I saw the new My Mind's Eye Sugar Plum at Craft Warehouse two weeks ago and I bought some of it. I think it was the glitter that drew me in. It has a lot of pink and some aqua with a little red. Not what I think of being the usual Christmas colors, but it is really pretty.

I love the IDEA of a December Daily but the reality is that December is WAY too busy and hectic to add on anything else project-wise. It would end up being one of those good intentions that would make me feel guilty for never getting to it.
And I vowed last year that I wasn't going to buy ANY MORE Christmas paper until I got that part of my stash under control

So, found my 6x6 paper pad for DD today. It's called "Winter Whimsy" by Love Nicole. I bought it at A C Moore for $2.99, and it has 48 single sided pages.
It just kind of caught my eye. It has some tradition red & green, some chocolate browns, but also some aquas, some lavenders (!), some (little bit) pinks. There are polar bears and penguins, and Christmas bells, and snowflakes. Lots to draw from.
