Ford Expedition. It's an older model, 1999. It's going strong. I love the room it has to offer, how easy it is to move the seats when passengers sit all the say in the back. I've driven a newer model, I think it was a 2010, & it felt smaller to me & I prefer my model over the newer model. We are looking to replace this one in a year or so & because the newer Expedition seems smaller we are looking at a Tahoe. I really like the inside feel of the Tahoe. My daughter works at Carmax as a buyer, so I get the skinny on any car. She really likes the Tahoe as well.

I drove a Suburban for 16 years. I loved that thing-right up until the transmission went astray. It couldn't be fixed and my heart was broken to have to say goodbye to it. It was big, but it after a period of adjustment, I was able to drive it just as I could any other car-including parallel parking in one go. Suburbans are about as big as they get without requiring a commercial license (haha) and I never had trouble with parking spaces being to small or anything like that. I had captain's chairs to keep the boys separated, and we still had plenty of extra room. The only thing I didn't like was the gas mileage.

Lexus GX470. Love it! It's like a luxury version of the Sequoia This is what I drive on a day to day basis. I love it. Big enough to haul, not so big you cant park it. I love mine so much, I will drive it until it wont go anymore.

I have a 2013 Lincoln Navigator. I love it. It was bought used so had all the bells and whistles. It handles well, especially in our awful winters. Extremely comfortable, rides like a sedan and has air suspension which is very nice. It has third row seats so you can make the cargo bay enormous if you need to haul something. When my husband bought it I wasn't a Lincoln fan but I've become one. I recommend the Navigator to everyone looking for a vehicle.lol

We have a 4Runner, which is one size down from the Sequoia. I did not want an SUV, but we got it because we have three large dogs. I really like it. We own a Tacoma and the 4Runner and dh loves his Tacoma but thinks my 4Runner has crummy turning radius. He drove my 4Runner out to the dog show and then got into the RV and again said the RV turns better then the 4Runner I have learned to park with my tighter turning radius, so it doesn't bother me at all.

Mazda CX-9. Big enough for 7 people but I don't feel like I'm driving a tank or have any issues parking. She drives like a dream and isn't terrible for gas mileage. We've been very happy.

I have a Volvo xc90 that I really like. Seats 7, access to the the third row is pretty good, and it's a quiet, smooth ride.

Chevy Tahoe. It's been great. It's a 2005 and odds and ends are starting to need repair/replacing. But it still drives smooth and the mileage hasn't decreased much over the years. It's comfy and roomy. Hoping it lasts me till next fall then I'll buy a newer one. P

Be sure to check leg room in the third row if you will be using it ever. We have an Expedition and all seats have good leg room. Storage behind the third row is limited. My uncle's Tahoe was horrible when it came to leg room in the third row. I was in pain from having my knees to my chest for an hour and a half and I am only 5'4".

I drive a Lexus GX460 and it is plenty big for me. I am currently driving a Yukon XL as a rental and that is way too big for me! Won't even fit in my garage.

We also have a CX-9 (2010). If you need a 3rd row regularly, it's a little tight. We only use it occasionally. No major issues so far. Save

We just purchased an '04 Ford Explorer for being able to haul the dogs around and get upnorth easier and for me for getting to work in the winter. I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of my car and driving the explorer full time. It's been 9 years since we had a truck and I forgot how much I enjoy sitting up higher. It's got a 3rd row that we just keep dropped down for hauling stuff right now and more than enough room for all our stuff and the dogs when heading up to the lake.

We loved our Sequoia. 10 years strong for us, lots of long distance drives, soccer games, family trips. Now it belongs to my neighbors and at 13 years old it's still running strong They love it! great third row seats Sometimes I still miss it but I needed something a big shorter to lift stuff into

2004 Honda Pilot. Has over 170k miles. I still love it but it is getting time to get a new car. Strongly considering a mini van.

Wonder if there is more limited leg room in the Tahoe. I drive a Suburban and it has plenty of leg room in the 3rd row, plus more storage behind it. I've been in the 3rd row comfortably at 5'6" I've driven them for 19 years, have had good luck with them - on my 4th one. I'm kind of sad because it doesn't seem necessary anymore since all my kids have their own vehicles. Each of them learned on and have driven one of mine quite a bit. A little intimidating to a 16 yo, but it's good experience for them.

We have a sequoia and ABSOLUTELY love it!!! My SIL drives a Tahoe, and there is a lot less leg room in that then my Sequoia. The only thing I don't like about ours, is we have a console in the middle of the second row. I wish it was open, because I'm forever yelling at them for crawling over the seats, even though it's super easy to open them.

Lexus GX460. Fantastic vehicle! Prior to that I drove an Expedition for 12 years. The GX was a step down in size now that I'm not hauling kids. It's the perfect size for me and easy to handle in all the city driving that I do.

We have a Suburban and it is great for long road trips and hauling lots of stuff around.
But my every day car is a Tesla Model X. It is amazing 230 miles on a charge. Seats 7. Back row is better for kids than adults. Lots of storage space. Easy to move seats around. The windshield is amazing and it drives like a dream!

I'm driving my third Expedition. I have driven one since 1999. The newer ones handle so well and the turn radius is great. I highly recommend it.
