I often see things at CM that have a familiar look to them, but it had never occurred to me that the kit clubs would be purchasing those same items to print for kits. I don't know why I hadn't considered it, but it totally makes sense. In the past I thought they were just similar, not the actual CM product. Thanks for linking this up.

I have purchased quite a few things there. It's a great way to support designers and other artists. I'm no illustrator and it's nice to get unique designs that I know I could never have made myself and support someone else in the process. That said, I still love making my own designs too!

I love browsing CM! The only things I've purchased so far are fonts, but their catalog totally inspires me. I'm glad that others buy the products and produce them, since I'm way more likely to purchase physical supplies than digital at this point.

Those flowers were one of my favorites of all time! I'm happy and disappointed all at once. Hah.

I have found Felicity Jane designs on Creative Market in the past. It is entirely possible that they both bought the same design to use in their kits. Depending not on the license that you buy you don't always have to attribute to the original designer of the artwork. I was under the impression that she designed her own stuff. Good to know! Me too. Kind of disappointing.

I've bought a few things on CM too. And I love that you have a choice of some free goodies each week. There are some amazing artists selling there.

Well I guess in light of the CM revelation, I could consider buying patterns and printing my own paper. Not sure it would be cheaper than a kit in the long run though - I'd end up going through a lot of ink. Also I wouldn't be able to print 9x12 (which is what I mostly scrap), it would be A4 size.

I received my notice yesterday but it still shows that USPS is waiting on the package this morning. I was really hoping it would go out yesterday so it would arrive on Saturday since she uses Priority Mail. I'm still hoping the tracking will update today that it's already on its way.

Ugh. I still don't have mine (I am a subscriber). Since it takes 5 days to get to me it will be the end of next week before it gets here.

I haven't got my notice either and as an international I'm not sure that my DD will get here before December.

I'm not a FJ subber, but I ordered the Christmas kit. No notice of shipment yet.
ETA: nevermind - I just saw an email from last night at 10:15 that is shipped!

And now I see another email about the acetate pages not being in the package because they were crap and she had to reorder.

I haven't got my notice either and as an international I'm not sure that my DD will get here before December. Sorry to hear that. I'm still waiting on my KP DD kits. They made it all the way to my local post office, but got sent back to Portland because of an addressing error. Not sure what the problem was since my Oct. order was posted days later and arrived last week, no problem. So, I'm waiting for it to get back to her, so CS can try sending it again. I'm really starting to see the benefits of a DIY kit. Between product defects, manufacturing delays, and shipping AE seems to be on target with selling and shipping early fall. Hope your kit gets on posted soon. Waiting sucks. And don't let the late arrival take the fun out of documenting the whole month.

I received my gossamer blue and kp kits this week and I love them. the only think I will get rid of is the package of puffy stickers in the gb kit simply because they smell so toxic (all puffy stickers imho) that I cannot bear to put them in my books! the think I like best about the two kits I ordered is how well I think I can make them work together. now I am excited to get started!
